Helping to construct better parameters is adding something. No need to be rude.
If you were offering suggestions for better parameters, I'd agree. However your suggestion was "Try and find things that are good examples of increased power." Which was vague at best or redundant given the thread title.
If you said something along the lines of, "I think we have enough examples of EE and Plasticity. But what about characters with Force Blast or Mind Control that should get a second glance?" That would have been better.

(Special) Erased Myself From Your Minds: Lines of fire drawn to Maxwell Lord by opposing characters are blocked unless he's taken damage from an opponent's attack this game.
The only drawback he suffered with the triple target MC was all the feedback. But now that feedback is capped at 1 click, Max has become much more of a threat.
Personally, I find the fact that people more readily gravitate toward EE and Plas telling in regard to the future of the meta-game. It's also interesting to me because it indicates that two of the more "useless" powers in the came have become inversely viable. Expect multi target EE characters to become a staple on many teams.
That's another thing that has surprised me regarding these changes, older figures have become more viable while newer pieces don't seem to benefit from the changes in as many numbers.
