As hotness is a form or subset of attraction, I believe the correct answer is both.

Now considering the original discussion started with a challenge to post only a photo of the women in consideration (all be it two different women originally), it would be purely a physical appearance discussion. Anyone taking into account personality is cheating since these can't honestly be derived from a photo. Hell, there was an episode of Gilligan's Island where Ginger and Mary Ann switched wardrobes, so even though someone is wearing a "girl-next-door" outfit doesn't mean that they really are. Therefore the only valid question based off of a single photo would be who was hotter in that photo.

Given this, I still stand by Inara winning in an easy victory.
