Just had to pee in the corner. the one where Muncho left all his stuff.
So I spent easily 6 hours in the past few days trying to get my lawn tractor working. Still haven't found the problem, but in the meantime I've replaced/repaired/reset the mower deck alignment, throttle linkage, fuel line and fuel filter, the air filter, the spark plug, and the battery terminals. And the ####ing thing still doesn't run for more than a few seconds at a time. I assume it is the carburetor now. If I can go another week without fixing it, maybe it will be freezing outside and I can ignore the yard 'til next year.
Nope, but I do wonder if I have contaminated fuel. Like maybe some water or something. It doesn't sound like it necessarily, but if a carb rebuild does not do it, then maybe I'll try it.
Interesting side note- Craftsman riding mowers do not necessarily have a fuel shutoff valve for some dumb reason. had to grab a C clamp and some leather form my modeling table to crimp the line while I removed and replaced the fuel filter. Great system.
I was wondering why all of the crew on the plane was wearing masks.
If you wonder why everyone but you is doing something, then you are the cause. Please bathe occasionally, you probably smell worse than Bud after fleet week.
