Every year, either here or Facebook you mention something regarding decorations going up to early for various holidays.

I'd love to see you detail a schedule as to when you think decorations should go up and come down.

Personally if someone puts a lot of effort into putting up a big display, I feel they should get four or five weeks to enjoy it being up. Mid September feels about right to me for Halloween decorations.

I consider the day after Thanksgiving the acceptable time for Christmas stuff to begin. Anyone plays Christmas music before that, I want to stab them with a candy cane.

I think the natural extension of that would be to set roughly one month prior as the standard beginning for all holiday seasons.

So 34 days is not roughly one month?

Yeah, I think if it was this week that I first saw it, I wouldn't have thought anything of it. But it was a littler earlier than I expected. I think it's on the borderline of what I would consider the "proper" time for such a display.
