Yeah, I get while normally one would think hero means Town, The fact that it's a separate descriptor implies that things aren't as black and white as hero town/criminal mafia.

With the possibility of roles outside of Netflix, you can't discount. I mean, I could think that it's ok, but I can't dismiss the chance of Hero/Mafia combination.

Possibly Elektra. Possibly Castle. I don't know why either would be working with Fisk, but those are the two that jump out as being a Hero caliber character with questionable allegiance.

Not sure I want to vote for TSP, but he hasn't clarified a lot of things. He gave a descriptor true, but tried to move on pretty quickly.

It also depends on how hero is defined. Frank Simpson(from Jessica Jones) could be Hero/Detective/Mafia if you stretch the definition of hero.

Even Elektra could be considered a hero of sorts.

I doubt Punisher would be considered Mafia, even if he's a hero. Working with Fisk is completely against what he wants.

The question I have is where should I place my vote?

IR says I'm a citizen and that's enough for votes to move
TSP says I'm a hero, is that enough? I can understand from his perspective it not being fair, but :shrug: mafia isn't fair.

From a pure self-preservation standpoint, I could vote for TSP, but I'm not sure that feels right either.

Uhh, about an hour left and it's gone super quiet here. I'm not liking this at all. I don't like TSP's answer because it didn't say enough, but it's a hell of a gamble to lynch him on day 1. I've got suspicions elsewhere, but I've been at the center of a lot of today and I need to calm down a bit. Right now, I'm not sold enough to lynch when all we've got is dialogue.

I did give a few more snippets like I'm only a citizen and not Kilgrave. Personally, I'm not sold on lynching anyone right now. TSP could be bluffing because of the assumed nature of the hero keyword, but is it the right time to try and call a bluff? Not for me. Hence my vote right below your post.

While he DID work with the Kingpin briefly in S2, that was more for convenience. I would think Frank is a neutral, possibly bounty hunter.

Alright, I'm heading home. My vote stays. I won't fault folks for lynching TSP, but I'm not ready to throw down, not on what is essentially a blind lynch with a big risk to it.

Per IR and adamical's reasoning. I'm not sold on TSP yet (keep in mind mafia does have a potential fake claim) but if he's telling the truth he's likely town-friendly at worst. Would still like him to answer why he found my posting suspicious though.
