There hasn't been an ass-blaster since 6th Edition.

Ok maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the players aren't dropping literally hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours on a force just to play casual? I can put together a gnarly team in heroclix that can hold it's own in most games for under 10 bucks. And get this, it will be made of characters that have history and lore and a flipping fanbase, not some random Orc Nipple-Clamper or Space Marine Douche Nozzle Deluxe Ass-Blaster that nobody gives a rat's ass about.
I do get where you're coming from, there are stereotypes in every game, I agree. But I did admit that I'm frustrated, right?
All I'll be able to think about from now until August is the X-Men Animated set. Thank goodness I just got a boat load of new Venoms and Spider-Villains to keep my brain occupied while we wait.
As for the giant Icetron, wasn't Ice Man only on 1 episode of the show? And I'm like 99.9% sure he never built an Optimus PrIce on that episode. Not to mention Mojo as a Colossal. I'm equally sure he wasn't larger than normal on his episode...so...there's hope for other Colossals not related to the show? Not that I'm gonna hold my breath for that long-awaited Colossal Mysterio Illusion, Sandman or Absorbing Man. But I guess there's a slim chance.

I think it's more a case where the colossals are small. I mean, yeah, Mojo is still bigger than he should be, but Nimrod is also on a 2x2 base so they're all more giant-sized than anything.

Yeah, like AI Hulk. That was where my mind went with Nimrod. Mojo, I dunno, that's odd to have him so huge. Even Giant, let alone Colossal, especially from what I recall of him from the show.
Regardless, I'm positive that Ice Robot was never on the show. Maybe I've forgotten an episode or something?

Well, add bitter to that list.
There's 30 years of history for 40k and fully fleshed out universe. This has history, a law and a fanbase... There's tons of clix whereby I have zero idea who they are. Doesn't mean they don't have a history, I just don't know it
Modelling and painting is part of the fun.
Most clix games are competitive meta driven nonsense that costs more than my 40k forces. With 40k I get what I pay for. Clix cases - how many people pull sculpts with wrong cards/ dials and WizKids do nothing.
This side of the UK I struggle to find 5 players to play clix with. 40k - I could play a different person a week for most of the year.
Despite comic fanbase, clix isn't as popular or as successful as it was whereas gw are the most successful company on the stock exchange the past two years...
I can take a balanced force to most 40k games and have zero issue. Good luck to me taking a comic accurate theme team and do well in clix. There's a reason why people in clix play meta teams and why many winning teams are similar. More about what they play than how.

I don't disagree with you, I was using hyperbole for humor's sake, to illustrate my frustration over my local gaming scene and my bitterness towards those who are enjoying their fun games whenever they want. It's pure envy, to be honest. I just wish I could play clix and be happy as often as all of the other gamers do with their games.
Except Magic players, none of them seem happy when they play.
Swampy sent me some pics. Put them in an album. Getting Champions Falcon, Cube and Gauntlet 30 points each. Pics of Captain America, Champion, AIM generic, TNG pics too
