I disagree entirely, that by all means, noone is forcing you to. Not even your opponent forces you to. You force yourself to. There is no gun held to your head, not even a metaphorical one. With your logic, its a race of who can get there crutch out first. You have legs, why dont you use them? Can you honestly tell me that when your opponent has his crutch on the field, you summon yours, and remove his BLS; really, how many times has that happened? It cant be too much.
All in all, only my opinion. *goes back to sleep*

yes, ive had bls, who hasnt? but i traded it away after a few weeks, only because i used it as a golden crutch and im not afraid to admit it, its the dumbest way to win, and is way too powerful.

last week at my local tourney my usual friends there never run bls cuz we all hate him, but there were two people no one knew, and of course they ran him and said, oh ummm i dont rely on him

one of the guys brought out bls 4 times on me in the first match of the final four for the tourney, i killed it, he used monster rein., brought it out again, the ni killed it and he prematured and coh it the same game again, IT IS WAY TO ABUSED.
....but im proud to say i beat him the next to matches and won the championship against the other guy with bls

i was using a goat control deck-no it isnt original, i just didnt have my other fun deck made yet so that one was the easiest to throw together

Anyone who relies on BLS and nothing else for their win condition needs it be shot. But that's all it is, an extra win condition, nothing more. You guys really haven't given any good arguments. Just basically saying "Bls is used to much, I don't like it." It's used too much because it's good. You talk about a crutch, but what about the most skilled players in the country? I'm talking about Luc, T and others. They use BLS. Does that diminish their skill in anyway? No. The only thing I hate is when it's topped and I have complete control of the game. But, it's one of those things you have to deal with. I use BLS, and I don't really care what you think about me because of that, but BLS has been argued and bashed long enough, and I think it's time we actually talk about it like human beings.

First, I'd like to say that initially that BLS was THE win condition, so if you killed your opponent before that, it was just an added bonus. It was definitely the main focus for quite sometime.

Second, I'd like to say that This thread is so close to being unwarranted now. with the uprising of Ben Kai, and Jae Kim's amazing 2nd place finish with a deck that doesn't use most of the tech that is found in most chaos deck (especially BLS), that BLS is NOT as strong as it used to be.

But that is just an opinion of a man who watches a LOT of games (at a time I may add)
