I was lucky, I guess: I pulled Hellfire AND Trebor Ydek in the same booster. As I understand it, for one of the normal, non Super-rare uniques, that is about as likely as winning the lottery.

I've acquired 16 packs at various times and places... and have pulled:

Well, I was not going to buy a case -- or any boosters, but after seeing what most of the pieces are going for on eBay, I decided that I would take a chance and buy a case. My local venue got a couple of cases that were left over from the first batch of cases that went out two weeks ago.

I was not disappointed. In the first booster that my son opened he pulled a Celina Santos pilot card. I thought that it was not going to get any better, but it did!

I got 8 uniques and 2 LEs. Three of the Uniques actually came with their pilot in the same booster. I ended up with 7 Legendary pilot cards (2 Kerensky, 2 Rosse, 2 Cambell, Bannson). I also got 6 GunSlingers cards (2 Santos, Mullhew, Sohne, Phuong-LE, Smith-LE).

Infantry distribution was odd, because I did not get a lot of the second veteran units. I received more elites than the second vets. The only infantry piece that I did not receive was the elite LRM Brty.

Vehicle distribution was the best of any case that I have ever opened. There were very few duplicates. I received almost a complete set of elites missing only the Saxon and DI Morgan. I received 10 VTOLS (missing the green DI Multi), 10 arty (missing on the Highlander SM2), and 12 transports (missing SC cap 3 and elite Saxon).

Mech distribution was good. I received 3 SSw Dasher IIs. I did not get a vet and elite Valiant, green and vet Blade, JF Hatchetman, and Highlander Dasher II.

I received a complete set of pilot cards, planetary condition cards, and situation awareness cards. I did not get 3 of the faction pride cards (fp002, fp006, and fp007). I received multiple copies of gear cards from G001 to G012. I also received G018, G022, G023, 2x G024, G027-LE, and G028-LE.

All together it was an excellent case.

Picked up the case I'd ordered from the venue that got pushed back into the second wave. Was VERY happy with this one.

Only got 2 in the whole case, just like the last time, but this time I got a SS one and I think another BR one. Plenty of Hatchetmans, Blades, only a few Mongoose, and a LOT of Quads.

lol, j/k, but I wish I could get pulls like that. Out of 10 boosters the only good thing I got was the House Kurita Crimson Hawk. Everything else was abysmal, EVERYTHING, vehichles? ####. Infantry? ####. Mechs? maybe I can rip off of their limbs and weapons to make some decent custom designs, but that`s not worth the 90 bucks I wasted on them. AOD is IMO one of the WORST sets for mechwarrior. The only reedeming factor is the customizable mechs, everything else is pure garbage. Counterassault, Death from above, and falcons prey, now those were all great sets. No matter what, I almost always got good units in boosters (esp. w/ counterassault, my fav). Now I really feel like I`ve been seduced, raped, and cheated by wizkids with AOD. Quite a crock a ####e if you ask me.

I have bought one booster from AoD and one booster only. Since there are no Republic units, I ahve decided to wait ubntil the next expansion set but I did want to pick up 3 specific things from this set: Milagro, Celina Santos, and ROTS/other unnamed house-"we can make ranged combat formations w/o base contact" card. I've been watching them on eBay to no avail. Milagro and Celina were going for upwards of 15 each and 30 as a set. I finally caved and went to buy one booster at the local store. I returned to the car and opened the box to find a few infantry, a random vehicle, and in the bottom....MIlagro, the white jade hawk!! Then I checked the cards because I knew that the nonLEs did not come bubdled with their pilots, and lo and behold, on top was Celina Santos herself! THe second card was a ArPeirce for heavy class but for primary weapon (useless on her) THe third card was none other than the ROTS/Liao SA card! One booster contained all three of the pieces I wanted from this expansion! Now THAT'S a pull!!! ANd to think I almost bid on the $30 Milagro+Santos auction on eBay...

My best single pull in that batch was 10 boosters that had Caber, Wooly, Alpha, and the Kurita Crimson Hawk all with their pilots and a Nyx without its pilot.

Probably the best booster pulls I have gotten to date. It's really too bad that word is Wizkids is going to take the tournament prizes out of the boosters in a set or two. I really liked the idea of being able to pull the tournament prizes out of boosters. With mech/pilot randomization it can be real pain trying to get a mech and its pilot together. Some come packaged with their mechs, but it seems totally random.

I usually buy a case but didn't this time because I was worried about ratios of uniques, pilots, and rare gear cards. From the boosters I have bought it seems to have worked out well but I would be real curious to see what the average number of unique/LE pulls etc. are from most AOD cases.

I have bought 5 from stores and pulled prowler urza twice yes twice , Traded both for highlander stuff. pulled a jade flacon LE the small one, not much else.

15 boosters and no LEs, uniques, anything. Then yesterday I bought the two boosters that came into my store (we're a Borders, we only get a couple at a time in our shipments), I finally had some luck.
