Well, when you post as much as I do, every now and then you actually post something which actually has some value. That's statistics for you. Sooner or later even you might actually add something relevant to the community, Warbanner!
:p
By the way, I've never heard from the band Mazinga Phaser. I just know that Mazinger is a Giant Robot from an old Japanese animation series. What kind of music does Mazinga Phaser play?
What, you don't have iTunes? Go to the ITMS and see for yourself. :)
And I think it'd take me AT LEAST several thousand posts to add something useful, even if only by accident.
Perhaps this is old news, but I figured out what the mech on the lower right is;
Its a Spector(even the claws on the feet are similar). Its not a JF or other clan mech at all. A 35 ton IS mech with a large laser and a couple of mediums.
I admit that there are differences, and this machine has sharper edges, but the weapons profile, side and limits look very similar, so I strongly suspect its a spector. Still, only time will bear out what this mech is for sure. It could very well be a whole new 'mech.
Frankly, I don't think it is that clear-cut. I looked at my copy of 3055 Upgrade, and it really doesn't bear that close of a resemblance. The reseen Vixen has the gun on the side of the right arm, with a hand still present. It also has torso mounted barrels. The 'Mech in question has a gun-arm (no hand) for the right arm, and no barrels in the torso. I then looked at the IonWind Metals sculpt, and while the resemblance seems to get a little closer, it's still quite different - the cockpit on the Wolf Strike 'Mech is lower in the torso, the Vixen still has the gun on the side of the arm, the shapes of the torsos arms and legs actually differ a lot when you look at them closely, etc.
In short, I don't think the resemblance is anywhere near to being close enough for the debate to be over ;)
well it aint no specter. and look at the miniature of the vixen the art has no bearing.
look at the kraken vs the mini, the behemoth vs the mini. they look nothing alike.
I have to say, it looks vastly more like the Incubus/Vixen than it does the Spector. Here: http://www.camospecs.com/Miniature.asp?ID=2263
Sure, the hands are different, but that's minor compared to the almost identical torso and head. The cockpit has been moved slightly, but the lines are, overall, nearly the same. If it isn't the Vixen, it's something new that's pretty derivative, or something else old that hasn't been mentioned yet.

I think this one is pretty locked up as a slightly redone Incubus/Vixen. We have the same general 'Cobra Hood' body shape. We have a well distinguished central torso/cockpit. The same series of three guns in each side torso. A big gun in the RA. To many similarities to be anything else.
and WK made it look better :P.
well, ecvept for that goofy leg setup. i really love the replaced cockpit. so much better. and the gun on the CBT mini is literally a hexagonal barrel just strapped on. it looks really bad when you see it in person.
