I have seen certain ways of Titans do wonders in games. But that is by a player that has made the deck wrong, and doesn't know how to play them. The other titan guy uses a team up with syndicate.
I want to make a deck that is good and understand why it is good. I know Garth, and Roy are great. But what is the best kind of titan? Rush, Weenie, Beat, Control. I honestly want to know before making such a difficult team. They are not easy to use, and not easy to make. If someone could help me make a Titan, deck (with no beatdowns, have a blast, and only 1 garth) I would appreciate it. i mean yes we love the Savage, and HAB, but I can't get them no one will trade me any. So can you guys help me in making a Titan deck that can be effective?

It is impossible to make a Titans deck with just one Garth. It won't work near the way you want it to.
Regarding the types of TT decks, the "known" one is considered a beatdown deck. It is just an off-curve beatdown deck, using team attacking, Roy, and a couple other tricks.
I do not consider myself a fabulous Titans player. But there are definitely some on here who can give you some help.
I only own one Garth, and I can probably try to get 3 more. It might cost me a lot of trade stuff but I'll get the three Garths if I find a way to dominate with Titans
1 drop
1-speedy

3-terra
5 drop
4-garth
1-either cassie sandsmark or dick grayson
6 drop
1-Koriander
1-conner kent
7 drop
1-Raven
31 Characters

4-TTG!

3-USS argus
3-Titans tower
29 non character
Some explanations: Turn 1 you pretty much just want to optitron for a drop you are missing. Tim drake on 2. dove and hawk on 3, unless you fear flametrap then beast boy is best. 4 you want red star if it is your initiative. Terra is usually a better defensive character on 4. Another time that terra is good is if you have argus face up or just a lot of locations. Garth on 5. Turn 6 usually consits of playing roy and dove and hawk again. Starfire and conner kent are for against certain deck types. Conner kent gets rid of power compressor and starfire is used against people who leave characters in their back row, like terra she is a better defensive drop. Turn 7 you can play raven or some little characters if you still have all your resources.
Titans tower helps to replace the beatdowns. You can optitron turn 1 for raven if you have a decent curve and titans tower for a +7 whenever you need it. foiled gets rid of micro sentinels and total anarchy.
4 tamaran so you can fuel garth and for the red star abuse.
Mulligan pretty much strait for optitron.
Like spiderman said you cannot build a titans deck without 4 garths.
If you cannot get 3 more garths i suggest getting as many as you can and running some extra copies of the other 5 drops suggested until you can get them.
Everything else i think has already been covered. This way you do not need to get the beatdowns. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I have a titans deck, made one since DC came out, i think its my second deck (my first is TNB) but when i first had it i didnt use terra/argus, & roy/press. i usually went with Pantha at 1, tim on 2 (couldnt get donna troys back then, but thats good bucus no1 uses them 2day) and either beast boy or Hawk/Dove on 3, then Kid Flash on 4 and Garth on 5 (i could actually get them back them when they werent as hard 2 get) then star on 6 and no raven couldnt get her (but i still won b4 turn 7:devious: )
I will usually mulligan for Optitron or Hawk/Dove.
In any event, I've been experimenting with some different characters to feed Roy later in the game. I agree that Pantha is good when you have that one resource point left, which can be vital to crushing Magneto.
I have been working with both Superboy and Starfire, but I'm not a big fan of Superboy in my deck, so I'm probably going to take him out.
I have, however, grown to become a much bigger fan of Beast Boy. I didn't even play him before, due to there being much better turn three options (Roy or Hawk/Dove), but now with Flame Trap and the like he has become a lot more useful, at least to me. I only run one, but he is nice even later in the game.
Also, as Orryst said in the first post, I have grown to love Speedy + Argus for turn one. It *hoses* the sudden advent of GL/EE weenie decks in my area.
I currently run 2 beast boys since they are much better against flame trap and glee. Superboy isnt very good, but he is vital against cards like power compressor, utility belt and kevlar body armor. He is although, a bit too slow for chopping block.
If you only need to Speedy once, here's a cool little trick. Play him, KO him, and then during combat, use a Tamaran. You know you're killing Speedy, who you hopefully won't need (if it's an emergency, Garth can always help.) and you don't draw 1 card less.
