Better website with a complete demo for EVERY keyword. Also, how to stack effects on top of phases. Like "stacked on top of the recovery phase" or "stacked on top of the draw phase"
SLOW DOWN the release of new sets. You are going to flood the market and kill the game. 2 sets per year is more than enough to get the most out of the sets. We don't have time to enjoy each set thoroughly becuase we want to move on to the new set.
2 sets per year is retarded. the metagame will stay the same forever and ppl will stop buying packs.
maybe start some kindof pack type that will have people still buying the pack after the next set comes out?something like a 300 card set full of 6+ legacy team content? i've noticed once a new set comes out its like the sets before it cept origins just dont exist. i've yet to see any1 buy DJL or avengers since xmen came out
Originally posted by Asmodeus 1) Instead of introducing one or two new mechanics every set, go back and visit some older mechanics. The response to the Morlocks team has been very positive, and one of their main themes is that they all have Evasion and many of their characters, plot twists, and locations use this theme to better the team. Maybe instead of a new mechanic in the Teen Titans set, go back and really focus on Leader or Cosmic.
2) I agree with the poster who said create something between Hobby League and PCQ, but make it have a theme that will bring casual players out. For example, one week, have an Avengers vs. Justice League week, where you build two decks (one of each team) and bring them to the store. You then roll; winner picks the deck they prefer, loser picks initiative. Simple as that. It's great for the casual players out there.
I have to agree with your first point Asmodeus. Some times, it might be better to make a new set reinforce some of the older keywords, cause other than Concealed and Boost, most keywords are just forgotten about.
Your second point is what that BRADS place in florida has been doing. Forcing random formats doesnt bring in the casual fan. Someone else said Kick out EA's at the comic related movies. I would rather see starters get kicked out, cause then you might peak the curiousity of some people who had no idea about Vs. System.
