Well... I did try to get Golden Age as the 4th format for the Megas... it's not too late for New York.
If they do, I would really, really, really want them to have Silver be the Sunday event and Modern be the main event on Saturday. I wouldn't want to have to drop out of Modern to play Golden. But dropping out of Silver wouldn't really be a big deal.
I don't care how they do what, I'd love for Golden to at least be the ugly stepsister. She might not be the main draw, but at least she's still in the house.
Ask Paul/TheDerangedBear... he puts them in every deck.
It just depends on how kind and friendly you want to be in helping your opponent smooth out his curve too.
Man, Erick... what's with all the hate.
Most constructed decks are optimized to hit their drops and can generally do so which makes Call in the Favor's drawback is surprisingly negligible.
At the same time, a good constructed deck should be more or less designed to interact with an opponent operating at a fairly high level - their deck is doing what it's meant to do. If your deck's only chance to win against the majority of the field is for them to miss drops then, no, Call in a Favor is not a good choice for you.
However, chances are that your deck is terrible too and you shouldn't play it.

While this may be true, wouldn't you rather play something that wouldn't, at the very least, let them get a power-up?
For the majority of the situations, you would probably want to play your team's own search or Mobilize instead of this card.
Now given that, let's say you do commit to playing that card. Given that we are no longer discussing the merits on whether or not it should be included... the reality is I'd much rather give my opponent a power-up then miss a drop. In addition, how often will that power-up matter?
Yes, absolutely, there will be games where they searched out that power-up and won off it. But just the fact that they're not powering up out of nowhere is a huge deal. In addition, sometimes your opponent doesn't have a guy they can discard or a guy of the right affiliation etc...
If for some reason you want to play search nine thru twelve, I think this card is pretty good if you can get your hands on it. However, you can more then likely suffice with your on-team plus Mobilize.
