i assume that if i buy a new one, i can't transfer my hard drive over since the unit isn't working, correct?
does a transfer cable come with the new xboxes?
Looks like you may have had your answer, but your hard drive can move to a new box. My last hardwear failure I just went and bought a new Arcade system at Gamestop. I traded in the broken one and still got $60 trade credit because they were doing some used system deal.
And since we don't have a PC gaming thread, I'm posting it here. Got Dragon Age:Ultimate Edition for the PC as a Xmas gift, so played Darkspawn Chronicles.
And it was... mildly entertaining, but hell, I wish the Archdemon was such a paper tiger when /I/ fought the damn thing. For those that acquire it, JUST KILL ALISTAIR. The others can be mopped up later. I admit a certain guilty pleasure when the ogre picks up party members and you can then pummel the daylights out of them.
(Also, enthrall the hurlock emissary, the magic will help out tons.)
Got 2/3 cheevos, didn't get the +100 Approval from all possible minions one, just because... well, it's difficult enough already.
You also get to kill Howe, Vaughn, and Goldanna. So hey, Darkside has its perks!
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
You also find out Herren (of Wade and Herren) is actually a Desire Demon in disguise. Dunno if that's in continuity in the 'main game' though, but it was amusing.

I dunno. I really liked a lot of the changes in MUA 2, like the in-game leveling, the Team Boost system, and the power combo system. I just wish they hadn't watered down the actual RPG, and made it so that unlockable characters didn't truly unlock.
I would have really liked to play the game with the Green Goblin, from start to finish. That my only real opportunity to do this is on the super hard mode where Green Goblin can't last for more than 0.000005 seconds is pretty annoying.

This is very true. If they kept the original RPG elements, costumes/unlockable methods from XML/MUA? That would have been far superior.
So... so annoying. I'd rather play MUA1 than MUA2, just because you feel like your progress is saved in an additional playthrough.

To each their own I suppose. I just like assigning my stats places.. That was always a big part of the game to me.. At least MU1 had the gear that allowed for some kind of customization.. And the fact that there were more than 4 powers per character.
One thing I always felt is that even though MU2 had MORE characters than any of the previous games, it always somehow felt like it had LESS.. I'm not sure why I had that feeling.. It had chars I really wanted to play as.. but still felt limited for whatever reason.

I blame the costumes, and the restrictions on who you could play with the Civil War scenario.
