And you don't think the various comicbook publishers rip each other off repeatedly?
If it's got a herald, it's bound to be a rip-off. If it's got a sidekick, it's bound to be a rip-off. If it can fly under it's own power, its a rip-off. Tho, in the case of flying under their own power, I think Superman was first, so, all others are rip-offs in that respect, but he's the original. Then again, a case can be made that he originally didn't fly, just leaped great distances, like, over a tall building now and then.
When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.
--Alan Moore, Twilight
Also she was less of a "herald like the surfer" and more of a "the end is nigh, it destroyed my solar system and it is coming for yours"
So, she was more like the Ultimate Vision in that respect. Tho, as she came before Ult. Vision, one should say Ult. Vision is like her, only not as mechanical.
Nope, the storyline was a finale for one hero/villian......but he came back due to popular demand.
That'd be Hal. He wasn't there at the dawn of the story, but he showed up at the Dusk of it and sacrificed his life and powers to re-ignite the sun after the Sun Eater extinguished it.
Oh, and the answer to the actual question was/is Dusk. I just can't recall where she came from.
I am completely lost in DC trivia... i got no chance!!
Well, you've gotten some of the DC trivia questions right since you've joined up. I'm sure there will be more... unless you're posting from your laptop computer onboard an airplane with a drunk pilot and a Co-Pilot who see's mountain goats dead ahead from the cockpit, then I'm guessing you may never answer another DC, or even Marvel trivia answer or question ever again.
