Yes, this is what they do every week. I think this is the main reason that it isn't cutthroat there as it isn't in a normal tournament structure. You add up the points from both rounds and highest score wins.

I hated it at first as I was trying to learn the game and found that I learned better when I could play a team more than once, but the people are the draw there for me. It is just a very enjoyable venue.

Sorry, last night was my venue night so I didn't see it originally.

I have had a lot of luck with the GF, but the FF is rather weak. In fact the only FF piece I like is the guardian.

By the way, Chi's mods of the GF Tomar Re and R'Amey Holl were a big hit yesterday! It is so impressive to see in person. The dice are pretty nice too. I thought they were my new favorite dice after the first round where I rolled 9+ most of the time, but that really equalized in the second round when I crit missed 4 times.

Knicks had a terrible draft last night.

Most my team consisted of FF figures. I found myself really wishing Kilowog and Sinestro had the indomitable the GF ones do. Some running shot would have been better on sinestro than charge as well. When things got into close combat is where it all went downhill. I still had a good time though.

I'm not able to comment on the new GL figs because even though I have them, I just haven't played any of them yet.

Seems like this is the popular opinion, but mine varies.

I like FF Kilowog. Doesn't mean I won't play GF 'wog, but I do like this one.
I think Abin Sur FF is the more 'meta' of the two, although I'm in love with neither. I like FF Green Lantern a touch better than GF as well. The Guardian i've played a couple of times already, but I haven't built up to slapping Ganthet on a team as yet.

On the other hand, Sinestro and Tomar Re are better in the GF (although I could go either way with Chicken Man).

My first round I think might have gone better had a support roll from naked butterfly woman wasn't a critical miss on kilowog on his last click. Sinestro was doing an ok job holding things together and some reinforcements could have turned the tide.
