Well, some of the powers were given to X-men, but they were given to the Ult X *sigh* remakes.

Side note: I wonder if Wizkids would ever possibly tell us how much it would cost to change TA's on clix, so that some of the Ult X can be used with the regular team ability. Having a multi-purpose tker, a formidable ranged attacker (with high base), and versatile Beast would be very cool for theme teams, as the originals don't quite cut it post-indy.

I'm sorry, but that sculpt most definitely isn't Cable. Cable doesn't have feet.

I am that guy who only plays X-Men (well 90% of the time anyway) and let me tell you, X teams desperately needed some front-loaded outwit. The only other choices for an X team were to use V White Queen , or Ultimate Beast. Its hard enough to make a competitive theme team, but with virtually no outwit it can be downright frustrating.

Also, why complain about a guy that only plays X-Men? Would you rather see him play U Thor and a bunch of Con Artists and Paramedics each week instead?

Any way I love the way the rookie dial reads. It sounds alot like Cable in his early days. Now everything past that I question. Rachael Summers has become my yard stick for measuring the cost of Xmen figs and at a higher cost than her at his E and V Cable better have some good/steady stats or a deep frickin dial and not the standard 6-7.
I was also hoping that the V would be the more powerful version of the character (why not we got the diamond version of White Queen?). The Xmen don't have an OH $###!!! character just a bunch of mid range figs. I'd like to see some punch to the team and Cable was one of the few characters that could have brought this to the table. Well there's always hope for an LE . I also hope for some EE. RS+outwit+EE would be a good harasser.
I'll be happy when WK finally gets around to making more Xforce members. So far we have Boom Boom and Cable.

This isn't Sauron or Iceman here, but he doesn't look too bad.

I like the bufer look of Cable when Jim Lee drew him....but oh well. The stats sound very promising...looks like I'll stick to r or e with Cable, though.

I'm curious as to what he ends up with. I think the Outwit is there to show off his ability to go toe-to-toe with guys like Hulk or Bastion. At the point value though, I'm wondering what stats and powers he'll have, as well as how long of a dial.

I don't know if anyone else will do this, but I'll be painting out the words "Soldier X." He never, ever called himself that. Deadpool and a couple of idiotic SHIELD agents are the only ones who ever did.
