Want me/us to move Punisher, Warbird and Cap from yesterday since no Evil player has moved yet? Or should I just give them all a pass action?
I agree about the "Teamwork" thing. I PM'ed someone who I think might be interested in taking Greenstranger's spot, but haven't heard back from him yet.
it would be best if we find a replacement...because 3 individuals vs 2 individuals can skew things because of the "teamwork" issue.....however...because of the flow of the game...why dont we do something along the lines of
A) you take Punisher and Wakanda takes Cap and Warbird
B) wait for 1 day for someone to chime in and take the new team...if not then bring in another 150 from the starting edge

Splitting the figures is a bad idea due to each person's army having 3 moves per turn. One of you taking over Green strangers team is fine though, but just don't spilt it since it seems right that his army should stay together as a team.
As for moving Greenstrangers figures, I'm fine with it, and it is the reason why I'm holding off my move.

i see your point supermember...yeah how about alternating who runs his team...two turns brasil and two turns wakanda...until we get a taker to pick up the gauntlet...that should fragment it enough to give the appearance of a lack of teamwork

Now that I think about it. Greenstranger's team couldn't take more than 3 actions a turn to begin with, so it should be fine if you spilt the figures up as long as it still operates as "Greenstranger's team."

Originally posted by Brazil Sure, I'm not trying to bring MORE movement into the game. What I'm trying to do is allow figures to opporate independently. It is my perspective that each "turn" represents some simulated amount of time....let's just say 6 seconds for this example. Well each figure takes it's action in the game sequentially, however this is supposed to be a simulation of what each figure does during it's 6 seconds. The actions each occur simultaniosly, but are modeled sequentially for ease of play. Well if one figure carries another figure, then the carried figure then takes an action, it is definitely spending 6 second being carried, plus it's 6 second taking it's action for a total of 12 seconds worth of action this figure is involved in. Hence allowing a figure to be TKed or Taxied AND take an action is bad in a simulation sense. Plus if figures could be taxied and/or TK'd and move and attack on their own would just be silly. This game was silly enough in the old days when a figure could get double taxied and attack clean across the board, it's supposed to be a comic simulation, not a boardgame where players scam the rules for maximum benefit. I remember a friend of mine about two years ago designing a team with 3 Wasps and Boomerang, wasps 1&2 would carry Wasp 3 and Boomerang partway across the board as free avengers moves, then wasp 3 would carry boomerang further actoss the board as another free avengers move, then boomerang would do a multi-shot energy explosion on his opponent's figures all on the first turn clear across the board. To me that didn't seem like Comic realism at all. It was just exploiting the easily exploited rules of a board game. Comic realism was totally out the window. This rule system eliminates that obserd aspect of the game. Each figure gets it's 6 seconds worth of action. And they can move themselves into position to attack, they can opporate independantly, without relying on teammates for their mobility. And movement superpowers like Leap/Climb and Phasing are actually valuable and useful.
I think the biggest difference between you and me Brazil is that you see this as a comic simulation where I see this as a tactical game with figures based off of characters from comic books.
I don't agree with putting time on rounds. Never made sense in Dungeons and Dragons and it doesn't make sense in a miniatures game.
Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone.
Breaking up Greenstranger's team might be sort of a bad idea, in that it won't be able to interact efficiently with itself.
I think a better solution would be for Wakandaman to run Greenstranger's team in the intrum, so that it doesn't work too efficiently with my figures which are in the same area with Greenstranger's figures. At least until we can get someone to take over for Greenstranger.
Tell ya what, I'll move greenstranger's figures now, in a non-aggressive way, to buy us a little time to maybe get a replacement player.
Okay, so I moved Punisher and Captain America for Greenstranger, and passed with Warbird.
Let's go ahead and keep on moving. I'll try to get a replacement for tomorrows "Good team" move. If you know anyone who you think might be interested, push them this way. Let's go ahead and continue with Evil's move today. If anyone from evil doesn't get moved today due to the delays caused by the greenstranger incedent, we'll make tonight's midnight deadline flexable. Good won't move tomorrow until all of team Evil has had a chance to move.
The team of good, consisting of the Fantastic Four, The Amazing Spider-man and some of his friends, and an odd alliance between Warbird and Captain America of the Avengers teaming up with the Punisher, closed in upon the alliances of evil consisting of the Sinister Six, the terrifying Masters of Evil, and deadly newcomers from another world who were up to no good.
Then suddenly, something odd and unexpected happened. The bonds that held Warbird, Captain America, and the Punisher together began to break.
It started when Warbird flew Captain America over a pond. Captain America being the strategist that he is said that the location was no good. Explaining that there was no cover at this location, and that they could be easily swarmed with no easy way to retreat. Cap then demanded that Warbird take them to their previous coordinates. Warbird became furious! But she did as Cap asked and flew Cap back to their previous spot.
"And do something with your soldier, it's a mess."
At this point, Warbird didn't care how much Cap was liked by everyone. This flag-totting freedom bringer had crossed the line by talking about her hair.
Warbird picked up the biggest statue she could find and crushed the Captain beneath it.
Captain America never saw it coming, he wasn't expecting an attack from the rear and from one of his own men. He was gone. Captain America had fought his last battle.
There was less than a .00000000000000000000000000001% chance that the debris from the statue would hit and kill the near invulnerable Warbird. Well, if Warbird was in Vegas, she would be doing just fine right now. RIP Warbird.
Castle was getting ready to snipe the first villain that would come into his view before all this happened. He was battle trained and he knew that he should stay focus as the war in Vietnam taught him to. And without a doubt this WAS a war....but his curiosity had got the best of him, and he spun around to see what happened, and the but of his gun hit hard against the tree. The impact had made the Punisher begin to fall. As he was falling he couldn't believe what he saw. Cap was crushed under a patriotic statue. He was in such shock that he never had a chance to recover from the fall which snapped his neck.
The Fantastic Four and Spider-friends looked on in horror. This couldn't be happening could it?
"NO!" Invisible Women looked on in concern.
Spider-man had no jokes for this situation.
Then came a yell....
...MYSTERIO QUIT FOOLIN AROUND!!!
At that moment Warbird, Captain America, and Punisher disappeared into flashes of light and the real Warbird, Captain America, and Punisher reappeared behind a building.
And the rumble was on again.

Thats suppose to be "And do something with your hair soldier." But as we all know we don't have enough time to edit our post.
I should have my move in later and on time.

Mind as well get a story post in now because I probably won't have time to do one tomorrow. I should be able to do my move though.
Story Post
Mysterio, Sandman, and Electro are all planning their next move.
Mysterio: Guys, I should have pointed this out earlier, but there are two Doc Ocks.
Electro(stunned): Cripes, what do we do? Which one is the real one? What if the one leading us to the good guys really works for Spider-man, and this is all just a plan to put us all back in jail.
Sandman: How is this possible? A cloner? Yes, a cloner...maybe we can clone one of her for each of us.
Sandman stares Cheshire down.
Electro: The only way we can know if that is the real Doc Ock is to go up to him and ask him.
Mysterio: I'm not asking him. It looks like he is going to kill me after this is over with as is.
Elsewhere
Bullseye: Yes it looks like the guy in the red suit is a good shot, but I do not miss.
Boomerang: Ya don't miss? I've seen the toilet seat after you get out of the bathroom. And lets not forget about Dare...
In a blur, Bullseye quickly throws an apple that he had picked off an apple tree earlier right into Boomerang mouth stopping his words right there.
Bullseye: I..do..not...miss. And it would serve you well to remember that.
