Power creep isn't affecting my purchases, but the change to 60-figure CURSR from 96-figure REVU dramatically altered my purchases (I spend much less on clix).
Well, I have more to go on with this, but I'm tired. It's not worth trying to make you see my side of the coin.
Wow you're an idiot. I was referring to the time of the thread moron. It was like 4 in the morning in Mtn time zone, which meant the only people responding would be graveyard people (graveyard as in the night shift, not some sort of zombie creature) and people in Europe, as they are 8 hours or more ahead of us.
I can't believe I'm wasting time arguing with you lol
Well, I'm sure I could, as I know for a fact I've noticed a couple but like I said, not worth my time to try and change the rock. Also, you still have NO IDEA what I was saying when I was using Anecdotal, and I was using it correctly. So. . . You're still really off base and that's just sad.
I use a higher standard of joke when I am in my element. I've gotten quite a bit of rep from people who got my jokes just fine, and found them funny. Just cause you don't get a joke is no cause to debase the joke, friend. It means you either laugh with the crowd, or figure out what about it was funny.
I don't care to frankly. You'd think if more and more of the older base didn't just avoid your posts, they'd have chimed in, but I didn't see many people with over 2000 posts, but I could've missed a few.
yes insulting somebody 4/5 times and in your 6th post coming up with a "clever" joke usually gets lost in the translation...
maybe it also has to do with calling somebody "a moron" and saying "lol" at the end of the post the rest of the time...
Oh Oh I better get 2000 posts then because otherwise my opinions don't count...
I didn't realize this thread had been up since Thursday, but most of the activity had been done at night. It wasn't out of line of me to say that you're limiting your sample size, because, frankly, you are, and for that you're not going to get a good sample. Doesn't matter what you say.
By definition, this isn't a particularly valid collection of data, as it is completely voluntary; i.e. only people who feel like they got something to say will respond, which makes it a non random sample. That being said, that most of the activity had been done at night (which is a dubious claim, at best, as this site is accessed world wide, and "night" isn't a constant) doesn't make it any more or less valid a source of data, as it is already non random.

So I'll pull out of this one, and let you do your thing. God speed gathering your inaccurate data.
Why do you care if it is accurate or inaccurate? What do you think this is going to result in? It isn't like 'cause Brazil collects some information from ~100 self selecting respondents he is suddenly going to change the rules of the game, and everyone is going to be blind-sided, thinking "Man. If only some wise iconoclast had stood against Brazil's collection of questionable data. Where! Where was our hero? If only Captain Castle had saved us!"
The insults are out of line. I'm all for attacking people's position, but attacking a person is not debate, it's insults. Calling someone an idiot or telling people they need to seek help is not what this forum is for.
Iron River Read my wife's comic or I will say mean things about your dog.
I suckered these guys into playing: Feedback Damage
"Ad hominem: An ad hominem argument, also known as argumentum ad hominem (Latin: "argument to the man", "argument against the man") consists of replying to an argument or factual claim by attacking or appealing to a characteristic or belief of the person making the argument or claim, rather than by addressing the substance of the argument or producing evidence against the claim. The process of proving or disproving the claim is thereby subverted, and the argumentum ad hominem works to change the subject.
It is most commonly used to refer specifically to the ad hominem as abusive, sexist, racist, or argumentum ad personam, which consists of criticizing or attacking the person who proposed the argument (personal attack) in an attempt to discredit the argument. It is also used when an opponent is unable to find fault with an argument, yet for various reasons, the opponent disagrees with it.
Other common subtypes of the ad hominem include the ad hominem circumstantial, or ad hominem circumstantiae, an attack which is directed at the circumstances or situation of the arguer; and the ad hominem tu quoque, which objects to an argument by characterizing the arguer as acting or arguing in accordance with the view that he is arguing against.
Ad hominem arguments are always invalid in syllogistic logic, since the truth value of premises is taken as given, and the validity of a logical inference is independent of the person making the inference. However, ad hominem arguments are rarely presented as formal syllogisms, and their assessment lies in the domain of informal logic and the theory of evidence.[1] The theory of evidence depends to a large degree on assessments of the credibility of witnesses, including eyewitness evidence and expert witness evidence. Evidence that a purported eyewitness is unreliable, or has a motive for lying, or that a purported expert witness lacks the claimed expertise can play a major role in making judgements from evidence.
Argumentum ad hominem is the inverse of argumentum ad verecundiam, in which the arguer bases the truth value of an assertion on the authority, knowledge or position of the person asserting it. Hence, while an ad hominem argument may make an assertion less compelling, by showing that the person making the assertion does not have the authority, knowledge or position they claim, or has made mistaken assertions on similar topics in the past, it cannot provide an infallible counterargument.
An ad hominem fallacy is a genetic fallacy and red herring, and is most often (but not always) an appeal to emotion.
It does not include arguments posed by a person that contradict the person's actions."

So you think we can get his name changed to Captain Ad Hominem?
Nice post...if you had a tip jar I'd toss in a buck.

Lol You've got a point, but I'm 95% sure he's going to take this inaccurate data and use it to justify his hatred for wizkids, which would just irk me, cause he'd do it in the name of science. But you're right, not sense in worrying what other people do.

I agree, I got out of line. I apologize Brazil, I took the argument too far.

In all fairness, I'm sure we could find a logical fallacy to name you after to, so let's not throw stones on our glass porch.
I'm willing to admit my mistakes and move on, I hope you'll do the same.
Nothing to appologize for Captain. I assure you, you have no power to offend me, (I've outwitted it), but you're welcome to try.
And why is it, every time I conduct a survey of any kind here on HCRealms, those who's views oppose mine are always quick to point out that "the survey has no meaning"? (well, unless the evedence is in their favor, then they don't point that out). Don't the HCRealmers count as "Heroclix Customers"? I bet they're probably some of Wizkids most faithful customers, as not only do they play the game, when they're not playing the game they'er spending time talking about it.
Let us also not forget I am poling the group of people who are actually reading this. Hint: You're in the demographic being poled!! If this demographic's opinions have no relivent value...they why are you bothering to read junk written by this "No valueable opinion" group in your free time? We here on HCRealms are not only your peers, we are the ones you are telling that our opinion is "Off base...and non-representative of the far larger "Normal Heroclix Community".
I pole here, because these are the people who read this stuff, these are the people I'm talking too, these are the people who participated in the pole....these I suspect are pound for pound, Wizkid's best customers. You'll find most of the judges here who put on local tournaments, and you'll find most of the heroclix fanatics. And most of the competative players.
Rally my HCRealms brethren!! First we'll take on failed Wizkids promotions, then the unbalanced game mechanics....we'll conquer all that by Tuesday, then Wednesday....it's on to Mordor! (Awe damnit....Captain was right.)
