Wow, easily the least appealing set to me personally since I jumped on at Icons/Fantastic Forces. I don't want to be a Hair10 about it so I will leave it at that. I hope the Superman/Flashpoint fans enjoy it.
KRYPTO
Standard Universe Superman
Jimmy Olsen
Guardian
Lois Lane
Standard Universe Lex Luthor
Mon-El
Nightwing
Flamebird.
Yeah...it's really damned Superman-ish with the Legion and Flashpoint stuff. I DO love Legion, but Flashpoint can suck it. Suck it long, suck it hard.
I'm glad the preview got posted, it saved me over a hundred dollars.
Yeah. It should have been titled "All-Star Superman with LoSh and stupid Flashpoint" set. This set is worlds away from a classic Superman set that Superman fans want.
This set has some cool figures. I am a little surprised by the last few revealed.
I am a DC fan but I definitely did not recognize a few of them. Human Target? Element Woman? Look forward to learning about them.
The Flashpoint SR's look cool. I can't blame Wizkids for having them in the set.
A couple of surprises for me
1. Atomic Skull: He seems popular enough to be a clix by now.
2. Legion of Doom member like Toyman.
3. Guardian: He has been in the comics alot and I really thought we would see an updated one.
I am looking forward to seeing some dials and picking up the FF pack in December
Wow... No Atomic Skull, No Krypto, No Beppo, No SA Brainiac.
Very sad.
No Titano, no Nightwing & Flamebird duo, no Jimmy Olson, no regular DCU Superman/Lex...
I'm a little sad, too. I like the set, for the most part, but I really wish one of the Max Lords and Magogs had been dropped for a couple of the above... and I would've been happy to trade the Flashpoint sub-theme for the rest...
And by Kirby, we need a whole freaking New Gods set...
3. Guardian: He has been in the comics alot and I really thought we would see an updated one.
It wouldn't even really be an update. The version we got way back in Collateral Damage was specifically the Grant Morrison Seven Soldier's version and not Jim Harper who has repeatedly (if not consistently) been a major player in Superman comics for two decades or so.

I keep forgetting about the Max Lords and Magogs. I don't really care for either character and neither fits into any of the themes, yet they're taking up four slots between them! That's pretty terrible.
WHY WIZKIDS????
Why do you give us freaking BEN REILLY in click form, but not Jimmy Olsen?

Geeze, yeah.
I can't believe how much every single New God (that isn't named Darkseid) has gotten shafted by Heroclix.
Half of the ones that have been done are terrible (Big Barda, Granny Goodness) and most others are fairly lack-luster (Orion, Kalibak, Desaad) and hardly any others have even been made.
A whole New Gods/4th World set could be done EASILY!
(I'd throw in some sub themes of other Kirby creations, like Kamandi.)
oh dear. a superman based set, and no krypto, no duo's (c'mon, no lois lane/clark kent love? superman/super-woman?), no cyborg (yes, I do want an updated one) whilst a host of kryptonian keyworded figs is cool (see the asgardians from Hammer of Thor) i'm not really feeling the love for this set..
on the flip side. I do want this set's Zod and Magog, possibly Steel, one of the 2 superwomen would be nice, and i'd be sad if I didn't pull one of the supermen figs.. but otherwise, no, sorry i'll pass. EDIT: I would also want Lobo and Swamp Thing.
I liked Crisis, loved Arkham and the B&tB, but this.. no.
hmm, if they do a DC fast forces team, I'd like it to be the Justice League of Aliens.. but it won't be.

Maybe that way we'd finally get a Jimmy Olsen.
I'd buy a case. Maybe two.
Again, for the most part I like the set, and I'm not unhappy that I pre-ordered a case. But every time I look at the poster and see those Max Lords, Magogs, and Flashpoint guys looking back, I think of what we could have had in those spots and... and I feel a bit sad.
Also, while I'm not unhappy to get the Intergang guys, I would have preferred Atomic Skull (Albert Michaels) and a generic SKULL goon, or something like that. Like you said previously, Intergang really needs more goons if they're gonna be included.

Flashpoint...okay. But Legion of Super-Heroes? What isn't Superman-related about the Legion? He was a member (as Superboy) all through the Silver Age...

Yeah, I hope the Superman fans enjoy a Superman-themed set too...
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash
I think you've managed to hit upon the brightest spot of the set for me...thanks for pointing that out!

Quick question actually. Why are there two Magogs? Especially with all the people #####ing about x not being in the set I thought someone would've mentioned it.
I love the Reign of Superman figures and want all of them plus Zod and his fellow Kryptonians. I wish that had done the Reign of Superman and New Krytpon story arch only and not All-Star.
We could have seen:
Standard Superman
Standard Lois Lane
Standard Lex Luthor
Flamebird
Nightwing
Jimmy Olsen
General Lane
Krypto
Reactron
Guardian
Other figures from Superman mythos that would have been nice to see:
Toyman
Gog
Kalibak
Female Furies (the rest of them)
The CSA
Things we didn't need:
2 Max Well Lords, the brightest day one would have been fine, just give him the keywords of both
2 Magogs, we could have given the KC one a dual dial and a trait that says if he starts on dial 2 he has the JSA team ability and no the KC one. a little dial adaptation and presto another slot open for a new character
7 Deadly brothers, they are putting out the great 10 so ridiculously slow who cares. Have they even done anything in recent comics? They should have been put out all at once. Now I am all for getting complete teams and not leaving things half done *coughMorlocksandFemaleFuriescough* but if they were gonna try to breath life into this team they need to do it all in one swoop, maybe even a Fast Forces or mini-set for the Great 10. Not 1 great 10 figure every other DC set.
Doomsday, he's cool, but we just got a cool one.
Queen of Fables, she's interesting, and yes she battles Superman like once, but Superman has much bigger villians that could have been featured.
You have a valid point, sir. Legion is STEEPED in the Superman Mythos, but we still got NONE of the founding members that actually met Superboy at first. I guess I'm saying I would have chosen different Legion members, though I am glad to have a new Braniac 5.
