Toyman's Teddy Bear got KOd from Mastermind. All he has is his Airplane, which I dropped next to him in O10 when I sent him over to you.
Looking through the figures listed, trying to pick characters we haven't played yet, either in this game or in one of our other games, and we've done pretty well going through it. Two that we have not which I'll draft as replacements now are Mano and Triplicate Girl. For Trip I'll take version 206. She gets two Bystanders which share her current Stats and Powers. Skulduggery and Pummel on them, respectively.
Cos TKs Mano and Blok to E and F15.
Riddler Perplexes Superboy's DV to 17.
Mano Charges to E12 on Superboy, AV10 on DV17. Gets 7. 1 to Superboy after Invincible.
Blok Charges to E11 on Superboy, AV9 on DV17. Gets 5.
White Witch on Chameleon Girl, AV10 on DV17. Gets 12. Toyman can't see her to PC that. SS is 4. Chameleon Girl is out. Even without the Crit she still would have been, but I'll still take it.
Trip A moves to N11. Trips B and C, the Bystanders move to M10 (blocking replacement) and O11. They should have had a thing that lets you move them together as a unit, I think, personally. Like the Cuckoos.
Should we stop at 2500 then if we're close to tackled the whole group? It's a really good set but I do feel like we're playing a lot of them in our various games.
Probably didn't pay enough attention to Chameleon Girl, she's probably better than was played.
U-Boy on Blok. Needs 7, rolls 3. Such is this game for me. Amey makes it 5.
Superboy on Blok. Needs 7, rolls 11. He's out.
PG on Trip. Needs 8, rolls 2. Oh come on now...Toyman makes it 4.
Amethyst to Blok block.
I'm iffy on her but in comes Stargirl. She moves to C8. She rolls 2 for her sp.
Airplane ee on Trip. Needs 8, rolls 3.
With all my bad luck I just don't see how we're so close in points.
You were doing better for a while, now you're slipping again. We could stop at 2500. Timing seems good for going into the Deadpool game as soon as this one's done.
Aside: the Deadpool set's garnering a bit more of my interest. A new Constrictor, finally. A new Anaconda. The new Banshee looks amazing, and a better version of Black Tom's welcome too. Black Talon and Vamp? Kind of never expected to see them Clixed.
Aside aside: Kind of wish they'd get all the War of Light figures that have been spoiled into the Units section.
Glorith's one of the few figures we haven't played yet. I'll throw her in the mix.
Cos uses his free TK, moves Glorith to B18. She and Riddler both Perplex down Superboy's DV making it 15
Tharok makes his Damage 3, and tries to PB Superboy, AV9 on DV15. Gets 9. Interesting. Okay. Well first 3 to Superboy. Then I give you Tharok. I get Toyman back. Hm. Maybe I should have risked a reroll on that 9.
"Help Tharok with Superboy," Cosmic Boy suggested.
"I will kill you Superboy! The galaxy shall know of my renown when you die at my hands!" Tharok said. Then, after shooting him, he seemed to have a change of heart. "Wait, what have I done? This...this is wrong."
I'm not totally there for Deadpool yet but I hope we finally get a workable Constrictor. And Anaconda? You know I'm all over that one. I'm kinda diggin' some of the DOFP stuff. Moira is a gem and I'm crossing fingers for a Franklin Richards. WOL...it just isn't my thing so I haven't looked into the pieces.
Hm, maybe. Depends on who's where. There's a figure in F12 that I thought was Superboy (who's marked as F11 in your recap, but I thought it was just a case of being off a row). On the other hand you've got someone in E11 on the map who isn't in your recap, and Amethyst is in G11 in your recap, but there's no one there on the map.
Actually, given the positioning, backing up to the start of the turn, Mano will choose to do Poison only to Amethyst and makes it Penetrating. Since it wouldn't do anything against Superboy's Invincible anyway.
Trip's in a bad spot. Mano's poison KOs her other bystander and she herself takes 1 as well.
Riddler Perplexes Superboy's DV to 16
Mano on Superboy, AV9 on DV16. Gets 8. That's 1 to Superboy and then Mano swaps...with #5 Tharok.
Tharok on Superboy, Perplexing his Damage to 3, AV9 on DV18. Gets 8. Round and round we go. Swaps with #6, Mano. That's kind of funny.
I'll give Orion a spin. I never could seem to get the old version to work well. Let's see if I have better luck with this one. I'll just use the exp. version for 150. Alias on him.
Cosmic Boy TKs him to L15
Orion RS to M14, attacks Darkseid. AV11 +1 on DV17 +1. Gets 5. Amethyst makes it 4. I see Orion still hates me.
"You are fools, all of you, to come in range of my anti-matter touch!" Mano said, touching Superboy with one hand. With the other he touched one of the Triplicates, who fell.
"We've established your one trick doesn't work very well against me Mano," Superboy said. "Now it's my turn."
"Darkseid!" Orion bellowed, grabbing everyone's attention. "Your reign of tyranny is over!" He launched several grenades at Darkseid.
"Really, Orion? That old song again?" Darkseid asked as the grenades exploded harmlessly around him.
Darkseid on Orion. Alias is 2. He outwits Amethyst's pc. Needs 7, rolls 9. Uh oh. Grrrr. 4 to Orion and you get Darkseid for Amethyst. So wrong.
Superboy needs 8 to hit Mano, rolls 5.
With precision strike P Girl needs 8 to do 1 to Darkseid, gets 7.
Stargirl rolls 5 for her trait; gaining esd and rce. Gotta take advantage of that rs to C7 attacking Mano. Needs 6, rolls 8. 3 to Mano. Stargirl swaps with Trip. Ugh, not helpful at all.
