I'm torn here.
On the one hand, there was no need for Linkor to power claim, so it's unlikely he's scum.
On the other hand, the game size does indeed leave little room for multiple cops.
I wonder if one of the cops may in fact be something else?

My first gut reaction was Girathon was the Cult leader in the first paragraph, with the "Cop who doesn't get results" claim. But I also feel it's an odd claim to make, when he could have just as easily claimed his target was Town or something.

But no, I just don't believe there's a Cult. Game this size, hard to believe. We'll see, I guess.

What I do believe is that a Mafia that likely started with 3 members is down to two, and they *may* be panicking already.

I haven't been following the rest, but really, that's the core of my argument. Very simple, very basic. He lied about his target and he lied about what happened.
