I do appreciate Gwatch stepping up to help even out the teams. I did it when Peers drafted the JSA, then disappeared. Others have done it too.

However, I don't think a Faux team should be part of the draft. I'm DC Heroes, and this team is Marvel Villains, so the likelihood that it affects me is all but zero.

This isn't a real team, run by a manager. That's why it's tagged Faux. It sucks when someone drafts a very popular team, then doesn't bother to show up for games. Maybe someone who does play would have liked to have those characters on their team.

The possibility of a Faux team taking a character that another Team might want shouldn't exist. Any Faux team should pick up characters after active managers have completed their draft.

The way I Judge at my Venue is to bring a team that's not Meta or over competitive. If there's an odd number of players, then the Bye plays me. It always counts for a W and they score the points they KO.

Why should it count as a win?
Sounds like whoever plays that team gets a free pass.
No, they should still earn the win even if the team isn't by another manager.

Well, obviously that team wouldn't be drafted until the end. However, TVK never said he'd be leaving for good, and I'd rather him still be able to jump in at his points from Season 10 in Season 12, that's why the team -should- be drafted.

Alright, not a problem. I can work with that too. Just modifies the selections a bit. Am I correct to assume this team will not get a midseason draft either, or gain RP or XP?

It's called a Bye. It happens all the time in tournaments where you have an odd number of players.
Technically they can choose to sit around for an hour, still get the W, and not score any points.

They will gain XP and can upgrade.

I don't see a reason for them to not draft in the Midseason.

I actually think this is a good idea. Treating the faux team like a playable bye. It's a win, but is a 0 point win. If you want to take that and get a little break, that's fine. If you want to go after the 400 points, then you play against the team like normal.

That's a much better solution than how I've lost 2 roll-offs to teams that didn't exist anymore over in the FLE.

Alright. That is okay with me. If it was any other way, I might've had to rescind my offer for faux playing. While I'm okay doing it, I didn't want a full year of Thunderbolts while also playing my own team.

Edit: Thunderbolts being a reference to the fact that I was running Msthomps thunderbolts with game 1 upgrades in game 5 and 6.
