Roll is a 7, modified +2 to an 8. Basestar A's hanger is damaged. It won't be launching any Raiders or Heavy Raiders. Two more damage or one damage with a critical hit (1/3rd chance) will destroy it.

As is the case with a fleet with nowhere to dock, supplies are once again an issue.
President Baltar chooses:

President discards 2 skill cards and the current player (Adama) discards 3.
After the crisis resolves, Raiders activate and the fleet will advance one on the jump track. (All Raiders will move to 6 o'clock, towards the civilian ships. Assuming no ships move, the next Raider activation will cause the Raiders to engage Starbuck. If Starbuck is shot down, Raiders that did not shoot at Starbuck will each destroy a civilian ship, costing the fleet the population and other resources aboard.)
One of the reasons the Galactica survived the initial Cylon attack was because the technology aboard is purposely outdated and not connected to any network computers where the Cylons can mess with it. However, networking the computers would considerably speed up jump preparations and detect problems among the civilian fleet before they lead to disaster. Just convincing the military to even consider it would take some doing, through.
Current player chooses
-1 Population and the fleet moves backwards 1 on the jump track.
