I think we should go for the lynch. If we're wrong we learn something.
If we're right we learn even more.
But is what we learn if we're wrong worth one of the most powerful roles for messing with the Mafia? All we learn is someone's info was off and some people tried to take advantage of it.
I don't like people being ganged up on solely due to appearance. Not without more. There's something to be said for keeping cards close to the chest so the accused can't tailor their story but DB has been forth-coming. At this point, it's just "lynch him for the sake of info on the lynchers" more than anything isn't it?

If we don't do this, whatevs... but I dislike no-lynch days when we have somebody specifically called out early in the game. It discourages info-gatherers from making a case and gives the mafia room to maneuver.
As others have said, pretty sure he's dead. If he wasn't though I'd expect to see him here. I think Rokk lamented his death in the sign-up thread.
Well now, this is interesting. Maybe I won't take my vote off after all.
I was also informed TR was eligible to return. People should read the N1 from last game to see if his death changed. If not, he's not in this game. If so, he's here.

Trust the infogatherers until you can't.

Normally, I'd agree with this, but I think we need to be more aggressive.
Busdrivers are more valuable late game than they are the whole game.
If ERS is wrong, we've lost a busdriver, and identified ERS as a bad guy.
If ERS is right, we hit scum and the town is better off.
I don't see how a mis-lynch hurts us terribly at this time.
No. We won't have identified ERS as a bad guy. You know exactly what he'll say: "I guess I had bad info." and because people will be spooked of multiple bad lynches in a row, that'll be accepted (and quite possibly true).
A botched bit of info does not make an info-gatherer bad. We know that from thousands of games.

Yes by that logic in general but you were making it sound like my vote would seal the deal.
I've read the phase. One person had info. The other is just going aggressive for a lynch. That's not two people with things against DB. Ergo, I would rather err on keeping a BD'er - who is always valuable (eg: he can protect ERS Tonite) - than losing him when the people who know him best say that sounds exactly like what he would do. If he was Mafia, the Mafia would have given him a different action.
I don't think he would have risked fibbing what his action was as he didn't know if he was Tracked or the victim was RT'ed or what exactly. He had to be at least honest about his target at this point.

Unless Houdini is the Mafia Busdriver.

You think the Mafia would have let him goof around with his family?
Here's the thing: there's a "deal" of sorts on info-gatherers. They're allowed to accuse without saying why and I embrace that. Hell, I pioneered it. Once the other side starts answering, though, they can't just phase out and not participate in back-and-forth or inform us as to why the person is fibbing and should be busted. ERS is having everyone do the work for him even after the other side answered all he could answer. If ERS had said, "Well, that's nice but here's what is the truth as I know it about you..." things would be different. He didn't so the right and just action here is to give DB a Nite to be checked and to prove himself. It's what you would want for yourself - it's what we all would want for ourselves - so I'm giving him the same. It's only fair.
Game has just started. Lot of plays still to be made and this one seems like a stinker.

No one was lynched. Night begins now. You have 24 hours.
