Hey Red Gambit
This was my atempt for the X team.
Original X-Men/X-Factor
Vet. Jean Grey 50 points
Rook. Cyclops 55 points
Vet. Ice Man 47 point
Vet. best 80 points
Vet. Angel 68 points
300 point Total
I'm not fond of the R. Cyclops, but it may be a fun team.

I don't really care about the archangel not getting a unique, storm didn't get a mohawk unique she just got an experienced so angel is no big deal. The sculpt is cool looking enough to forget about little problems. One thing I don't understand is which angel is this supposed to be? Isn't the E supposed to be the Angel of Death? And so is the LE Archangel when he was with the X-Men but still had metal wings? If so why didn't they use a different version to represent the LE. Do we need more than one metal winged angel.
And Kraven is way to good, I'll wait to se the rev to judge but he is way too good.
And an all Rookie Brotherhood to face them adds up to... ah danmit, no Mastermind. Well unless he was a hefty cost, they wouldn't match up at all. Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Toad all cost nothing.
Retired, as per WK's rotation and judiciary replacement decisions. Talk about metaception.
oh ok this is the good metal winged angel. Okay then, that makes sense. But nobody else got a special sculpt for their le or rev's so though it is unfortunate it is consistent.

Y'know you can downgrade Jean to Rookie and not lose anything she actually contributes. (Oh, like her attack vlaue is any good to use Support). Then you can upgrade Cyclops, probably. Haven't got a calculator handy.

Actually, a seven is pretty dang high for support, Thunderbolts. Medics having 8 AVs is ridiculous -- it just encourages the "take one click of push damage, run to the medic" strategy that none of us like to play against. Look at the AVs of the original 2 Infinity Challenge medics -- 6s and 5s, perhaps the some of the only accurate AVs in that first set! I wish it were generally only possible to heal figs when they're badly injured...

You are correct Thunderbolts, but I was going for the
perfectly even 300 points. It might be cute for me to run
these guys up against the 300 point FF some day. Otherwise
I totaly agree with you and I would make several changes, but
this one is just for fun (with a hint of a-retentive on the points).

As for Kraven, he is good, but I am going to aim for L. Johnson more. Angel seems ok, but I really want Archangel with neurodarts(poison) not incapacitate and the original Archangel costume. Oh and for the love of god don't give him bcf.
Also, is it just me or does Kraven, Angel and Aphrodite seem horribly expensive point wise? Man Incap. is way to expensive.
He can't even double incapacitate. (Kraven) Incapacitate is a superb power IF they can hit two targets. Especially on a figure with outwit and 3 damage.
I like these figures alot. However, I will have to get a couple of different Angel mods made. Is it just me or is the body pose for the Angel LE slightly different then the R/E/V version they showed the other day. Same feet and face (except the blue part), but their arms seem to be different.
After reading all 9 pages, it looks like EmperorNorton's post on Boneyards Critical Mass Expansion thread in the rumor section hasn't been seen (or at least mentioned yet) by a whole lot of people. Must be 'cause you guys are busy posting.
Anyway, if you haven't read EmperorNorton's posts, go check 'em out. Supposedly, he saw the entire Critical Mass set at the Germany toy fair. I won't spoil anything for you guys that don't want to know. However, he "confirmed" all but one of the remaining figs.
Truth. Justice. Honor.
If we want them in our world we need to cultivate them in ourselves.

No offense, WizKids, but if it was absolutely necessary to have yet another shot at XPlosion LEs, especially over the Cosmic Justice ones which have only been seen once, did you really have to give us two of the lamest XPlosion LEs and not a final crack at the Jane Foster/Whitney Frost combo?
Please note that JonL designed the first set of Marvel. Yes, the set with starting attacks of 12, and ending defenses of 10. Expect a lot more front-loaded figures this time around.
IC's LE's were Vet+, so these will be also. Dunno about you, but I'm much happier this way. Garbage + extra point cost = bigger garbage. I had to twist people's arms to give away prize support lately, I'm glad they're back to the style that works.
