Originally posted by CaptainIreland I don't see how anyone can say JJ is worse than Mekanix.
Because Mekanix does next to nothing, but JJJ is an actual liability. Unlike Mekanix, you will lose games simply because JJJ is in play and you can't reinforce him.
Spider-Man NFF was actually played in good CE builds right before Curve Sentinels hit big. It was huge in the mirror match.

But since NEITHER will actually be played, that kind of distinction is irrelevant!
Strictly speaking, being able to attack and having an ability that means something is better than an ongoing plot twist that means nothing.

While we're comparing irrelevancies, +2/+2 during an attack (killing two of your crappy small drops you didn't want anyway) can be a blowout, as well as putting two Army characters in your yard to Recon Program.
There is this little combo that uses Firepits of Apokolips and Relocation along with Josef Witschi..........If you played it or played against it, you would know Relocation is far from worthless.
Originally posted by CaptainKen No mention of King takes Knight?? I know the CrimeLord deck likes to be defending but really...
Agreed on King Takes Knight.
As for Mysterium, the first and only time I well ever play him was in a group game. Got to Turn 10, and one guy was playing GL/EE, and was smiling that he was still at like 55 life. I hit him with the 8 cost Hyperion and then Mysterium and Sinestro duked it out. Game over for him at like 30 some life, and his jaw hit the floor quite hard.
Is Goth Corp the one where you draw 1 and discard 2? Whatever GK location that is, I use it in my Squadron deck to keep my hand empty.
JJJ is not necessarily the worst. i had alot of fun with him splashed in a top 8 berth. I realise in the right hands these cards can be MONEY. but overall in terms of LEAST effectiveness and MOST DIFFICULT to use, my list stands at:
JJJ
Deathlok
deacon frost
ALTHOUGH... deathlok is about to be broken in golden once galactus arrives
