that anti-weakness meta piece you've provided both demand and now supply for. potent and quite useful. i appreciate that it's got a continued use once triggered to make it worth it and that you can ko or counter her to bring back the weaknesses. makes for more strategic play. and the low defend/support combo is always useful, even if she weren't sporting those sexy 11/0s . dang girl, one-eye must be blind, 'cause those poofy sleeves aren't the only hotness on this dial. perfect support build. grand job
and for bonus, a flavorful in that el cheapo dial that's adding my favorite underrated power (great flavor ) AND she's got a sweat take on healing on the cheap. letting her "mm" the xmen ta dmg off is inspired
I've always loved heather. So underrated. Berserker Hudson is as level-headed as ever. She's arguably better with a bit of random plan B should her leadership not work as intended and nice bonuses if it does. The extended aura on a 5 can make for an alternative shakeup choice for token removal if you get it and the mass sidestepping on a 6 are particularly inspired add ons. I want to focus on that 10 pt, though. Daggum is she added so much for so little. Perfect little investment for her kws
Her gift was vaguely defined as My superpower is leadership. So I decided to put all the eggs inn that basket. To keep cost down, a 1 still gets you nothing by the +1 action total, but the better the roll, the more powerful she gets. A 5 or 6 are going to make a real difference in a turn. A sign of good leadership if you ask me

The Berzerkers are going to continue a them of having a 1 click dial that 'sorta' does what the full 30 pts dial specializes in (this case, healing). Playing off the X-Men TA was a fun way of keeping it there but fair. I mean, she's 10 pts, I didn't want her to just power action heal a click (my first iteration).
So here is the main reason for the WEAKNESS keyphrase. It was such a big part of the story that I wanted that and the gift elements to take center stage. The payoff on these Berzerker designs will be on the map bonuses and the Loki dials (one reason for skipping over them when posting new dials. I wanted to reveal the designs before I showed how they can be manipulated).
I always liked Heather's outfit in that book. Its actually better than a lot of recurring Asgardian costumes. You're making me want the entire run of chases.
Her super leaderships panoply of support is appreciated and granting not-Sidestep is great.
I love Maddie's ten point movement special.
I shall forever think of her as the "Launchpad McQuack" of the X-Men...come to think of it he's a red head too.
My Gift is Healing, I get the feeling that Maddie is going to be be very popular indeed and this adds a great little bit of game play in making her a high value target that must be defended if you want to keep those pesky weaknesses at bay. I also appreciate that its not an automatic effect and takes both actions and rolls to effect.

Launchpad McQuack. Wow, I had to dust off a few neurons for that reference. LOL I'm not sure how she kept her license after the number of crashes she's had. I guess as they say, any landing you can walk away from... Except maybe those ones where she was the only survivor! (cough).
What got me about Maddie in this incarnation is how she ends up the Goblin Queen. I mean, she does lose her baby, her husband, her identity... Loki's Gifts were to fulfill the persons inner most desire. Hers was to heal people. Fastforward now she wants to enslave the world with demons or Sinister or whatever the hell was going on in Inferno??
As for Heather, I wanted the special Leadership power loaded up with all the leadership goodness I could think of. The sidestep was my attempt at the most useful effect. Giving a friendly a move is a powerful support effect. In combo with her other powers, it is outstanding. She rolls a 6 and now you can try to max that empower/enhance. Or hit and retreat. Much less all the help on breakaway with a free shot at it.
he's a very unconventional support piece. like, he's not even remotely trying to fight. i'm amazed his attack value is as high as it is 'cause he's just gonna be doodling blueprints all game. that's a good thing, mind you, he knows his role. and it's containment. +2 initiative bonus is a clever way to represent the map itself as his construction and if you still whiff the roll he can power at the beginning of the game to make the map indoor one way or the other. why? why to make that barrier more barrific, of course! no flying or leaping over his blue squares, nope, you gotta go through 'em or not at all! and the added door/wall shenanigans is a cool way to give those lesser terrain opportunities to shine. and shine they will on the always indoor map he plays on 'cause he can now shape the battlefield to his friend's fire and walking needs
very, very nice. like you've made a non-combatant amazingly interesting

nice complement to the ol' builder of masts, but with a much more offensive option. bringing down the house is adding nicely to the package deal these guys are shaping up to
as an aside, the eb flavor text reminds me of a running inside gag i have with the missus related to the opening narration for the flash show "by day i'm just an ordinary forensic scientist" 'cause you know, that's just an everyday thing to toss under the rug . also feels like the b-side addition to the three part formula of they fight crime
I love map control and this duo is "The bee's-knees" for that.

Its a good thing its not available at ten points because everyone would get reallll sick of seeing him on all my teams.
And he's got extra Leadership, which you can never have too much of. Not to mention a lovely +2 to initiative ( which just makes him even more tempting to break theme for ).
As far as Earth-Mover goes she makes losing map roll all but irreverent for most teams.

If she had the ability to switch it back and forth she'd be worth double the points or more......also it'd be hilarious.

Yeah, this guy was the biggest challenge. Someone that can build buildings with his mind... So I through some meta effects on him and gave him the somewhat esoteric power of creating doors and windows. Not the most game breaking effect but one that is definitely has to do with buildings and one you havent really seen before... so there's that.
Once you see the map effects, you'll see why you'll want this guy on your team.

That's just the vibe I was going for with the EBN.
This character was fairly easy to make. The problem was trying to keep it different from Master Builder. They are still too similar but hey, I didn't come up with these wackadoodle powers.

I thought about letting Earth-Mover jump back and forth with the elevation. Aside from being stupid wordy, it seemed a little overpowered.

"Sigh" There's always one in every group that just can't get with the costume scheme and has to go tacky.....also I think Phil stole Firebrand's pants.
Tacky costume or not generating permanent hindering terrain is excellent and well worth the cost of the dial. Especially when combined with some very useful Empower and making the enemy forces unable to traverse hindering.
However Cornucopia is on point costume wise and has awesome strategic potential!
Handing out one shot Willpower and reducers is never going to not be useful. Move you combat monster up to that annoying Poison piece and get in a shot without worrying about if it'll take an extra turn to KO that @$#%.
That amazing glass cannon can't sustain fire without Leadership or burning itself out?
