Well, I'm going to bed now, and the game closes before I'll be awake. I do think it would be helpful to have something get done, so I'll post my vote and hope we're not wrong on this one.
Sorry guys I had a busy weekend so I was a bit out of it.
Darkstone has been my biggest suspicion, initially was because he volunteered his role too quickly without a conversation, I was opened to his role maybe not being useful in early game, but also because when we asked him to clarify he didn't exactly say that or explained much at all past that.
Now I see it's basically a done deal, but even tho he is mafia, unless someone missdirected me or something, he is not the one doing the killing, I targeted him last night.
Feels a bit more like you were hoping to wait this out and DB dropping a vote let you then place one that looks “participative” but indemnified you. Not loving the look but at least you participated which does beat out a few people.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

____Stormcrawler stalked the intruders through the thawing halls, like a sinister shadow. With a crack his dark, warping body disappeared and reappeared like a lightning bolt. Crack he was in the kitchen. Crack, he was in the lab. He crawled along the side of the wall like a spider, sniffing the air and wondering where his prey had gone. He was the God of Storms and Shadows. Of Insects and Hunger. His powers were obvious and clear, unlike his brothers and sisters who were barely born with gifts at all. No, he was to be worshipped for he was the terror that haunts the shadows.
____Crack, the lightning bolt struck the hall leaving the smell of burning smoke. "There you are," he said, as he watched a man in a red jacket flee down the hall and into the library. The man turned at the sound and fired his blaster, but the shadows moved quickly and the blast missed its mark.
____"Glory to me," said Stormcrawler on the comms. "I've found him heading into the library."
____"We're on our way," responded Scott.
____Stormcrawler waited patiently and hid perfectly still on the ceiling, encased in shadow. Eventually he was joined by Warmaker, Starbird, Scott and Metal Hog.
____"Anton?" Stormcrawler whispered, scaring the larger mutant. "Some of your armour is kaput."
____"Da. Listen, I wanted to tell you all. I was just attacked by some maniac out in the forest and he almost killed me. I think...I think he was a mutant."
____"Impossible," said Scott. "If it was a mutant then it would be here with us, not trying to kill us."
____"But Scott-"
____"No. Our parents said that only nine of us were born with gifts. Nine."
____"Nein," said Stormcrawler.
____"Exactly," said Scott.
____"I meant nein, as in no, there could be a tenth mutant. I can sense someone out there in the grounds, getting closer."
____Scott shook his head. "I won't hear this nonsense, and we don't have time to argue. You have cornered the intruder right? Let's finish this."
____Scott and Warmaker loaded their guns, while Starbird withdrew her batons. Stormcrawler and Metal Hog prepared to rush the door. The plan was to take the intruders by surprise.
____Scott counted down from 3,2,1 then Metal Hog bashed the door open. But, before they could rush in a door of vines filled up the space and blocked them.
____"Stop it," came the voice of Venus from inside the library. "You idiots are so loud we can hear y'all pretty darn clear from in here."
____"Venus?" Said Scott, with a hint of anger. "Let us in, why are you protecting them?"
____"You're gonna want to see this, sugah."
____The vine wall was lifted, and the mutants slowly made their way inside to see Astros, Shackleton and Detective Joe standing before them.
____Stormcrawler tilted his head. "Why should we toil with these non-believers? We should end them now."
____"I'll show you why," said Astros and he held up a lemon yellow moto jacket.
____Scott raised his gun. "Put that down! That belongs to Jean and you have no right to touch it!"
____"Bah!" Shouted Shackleton. "This jacket belongs to my daughter! I bought it for her myself, six years ago!"
____"Liar!" Scott moved forward, but Venus stopped him.
____"That's not the end of it," she said. "Go ahead Astros, tell 'em what ya told me."
____Astros held up a picture frame, featuring Scott and Jean embracing each other with wide smiles.
____"We came here to find our friend Eclipse who has gone missing. This is her, in this picture with you."
____"That's Jean," said Scott. "Who has also disappeared."
____"No," said Detective Joe. "It's both."
____Before any of them could react, Starbird pointed to something slumped in the corner, crammed under a table and hidden by some boxes. "No, no it cannot be!"
____Everyone in the room turned to see a hint of a red cape sticking out from under the table.
____Starbird wandered over to the table, pulled out some of the boxes and gasped. Underneath was the crumpled and folded body of Red Warlock. "Oh, Arthur!"
____Scott's face reddened and he turned back to the intruders. "You did this!"
____Astros raised his blasters. "No, we didn't even know he was there!"
____Metal Hog chimed in and said, "Comrade, it was the hunter from the hill! He is killing us all!"
____"No," said Detective Joe. "Stormcrawler said he was still in the grounds, albeit getting closer. Whoever did this was in the mansion, and might even be here with us now."

____"He's here," said Stormcrawler, tilting his head.
____"Who's here?" Asked Scott.
____"The Hunter."
____"Then we must do the fleeing!" Said Starbird, turning to leave.
____"No," said Scott, putting his arm out to stop her. "We're not leaving until we know what they did to Red Warlock."
____"We didn't do anything," said Astros. "We didn't even know he was there."
____"But you knew he was following you."
____"So?"
____"So, of course it was you that did this. Venus, back me up here."
____"Sorry sugah, I've been with them for a hot minute and I didn't see that."
____"Scott," said Warmaker, rubbing his green chin. "The mansion is outfitted with high tech cameras that I installed myself. Mother is down in the labs, but she can head to the relay room and check the feeds."
____"Good idea," said Scott. He tried several times to call her on the comms, and although the other mutants heard the broadcast, Dr. Locke never responded.
____"She's not here," said Stormcrawler. "I don't know where she is, but she's not in the mansion."
____From the hallway the heavy sound of footsteps stole everyone's attention. Metal Hog turned from his position in the entrance to the library, and as he did three blades in the shape of a sai drove towards him.
____"Get down!" Shouted Astros.
____Metal Hog ducked as Astros unleashed his blasters on the attacker in the hallway, blasting him with shot after shot until the Hunter stumbled back into the floor.
____Metal Hog picked himself up and stared at the intruders. "Comrade, you saved my life."
____"You can thank me later. He's getting up again and we need to move."
____The Hunter was slowly pushing himself up off the floor, as the bloody holes in his chest and shoulder began to rapidly close. His skin had turned green when struck, but faded back to normal as he healed.
____"What is this guy, the Terminator!" Said Warmaker. Then they bolted out of the library.
____They hurried through the mansion's long hallways for some time, until they realized that the Hunter was not following them. With a sigh of relief they stood to catch their breath.
____Metal Hog turned to Scott and said, "See! He is a mutant! No human could heal from that."
____Scott crossed his arms. "Our parents said there were only nine."
____"Hah!" Said Astros. "You mean your parents the homicidal mad scientists?"
____"You watch your tongue!" Said Scott, pointing his finger into Astros' chest. "Our parents have been there for us our whole lives."
____"Fascinating," said Detective Joe. "Your whole lives? How long is that?"
____"Since we were born," said Metal Hog, matter-of-factly. "I mean Scott's the oldest, but my thirtieth birthday will be in a week and a half."
____"Thirtieth birthday?" Said Astros, astounded. "You're all like twelve years old."
____"What are you talking about?" Asked Scott. "Do we look twelve?
____"You were born in 1972," said Astros. "In a vat. I should know, I was there."
____"As was I," said Detective Joe. "And it was hardest week of our lives."
____"Lisa was there too," said Shackleton.
____"There's no way," said Venus, raising an eyebrow. "No way."
____But Scott was silent. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the last note that Jean had written.
____"Check the birthdays," he mumbled to himself. "Was she talking about us? No, it can't be...if what you're saying is true, then Jean wouldn't be Jean at all. She'd be some girl named Lisa, or Eclipse, or whatever the hell her name is. But she was a mutant. She had powers, like the rest of us."
____"Non," said Shackleton. "Lisa never had powers. She told me she wanted to infiltrate you all, especially after the horrible things you were doing became rumours. She used to keep me in the loop...until she didn't. If she had powers, then it wasn't from being a mutant. Maybe your f'ucked up parents experimented on her."
____Wham! Scott slammed his fist into Shackleton's mouth. The older man stumbled back into the wall. Immediately Astros drew his blasters and kept them aimed at Scott's head, while Warmaker's giant gun was aimed at Astros' chest.
____Metal Hog took a step between them and said, "Enough! We need to work together, not try to kill each other! That Hunter out there is not working alone, he is taking orders from someone. We need to figure out who, if any of us hope to survive."
____"We also need to find Jean," said Scott. "Wherever she might be."

This to me really feels like grasping at straws. I've never seen anyone fake a ninja'd post, and no offense to JM, but they're far from who I'd expect to see do it first.
I'm still gonna pay for that comment IRL aren't I?
First, I'd just like to say how much I'm enjoying the story here, Stranger. Such a nice addition.

I don't have any strong suspicions right now but I would like to hear more from Roy and VB.
Does anyone have any information to share? My action was successful but not sure what to make of it without knowing what else happened.
I didn't have a super strong feeling that Dark was mafia, but he was a prime candidate IMO. I voted for him for several reasons:
1) To initiate conversation. We don't learn anything from being silent and relying on powers. I jumped in early on the vote because I was about to do the same before I saw VB's post. And then my day got busy but I don't think I would've retracted my vote at any time.
Now we have a voting record to look at.
2) I didn't like Dark's jump to search the mansion, followed by their lack of reasoning/defense of the action, followed by their general lack of cooperation. Felt like a mafia slow roll to get us to stall multiple days on a "found" scum.

Yeah, Rokk seems hyper focused on the JM/DB interactions. I don't think they are unwarranted, and I'd be willing to bet that one of the two is scum, but I don't think this is the route to take. I'm unsure about Rokk. Feel like his post/vote yesterday reads a bit like scum trying to jump in on a townie vote while also creating confusion/setting up a follow up vote/distraction. But also pointing out the last two "post hammer" votes is good town play. We don't want to let that slip by.
At this point I would like to hear from Johanna. As of right now she is highest on my potential scum list.
