I think it made the game much more dramatic.

I cannot see that as an actual thing. If Calmnic is unlynchable while he has minions AND can keep rezzing minions, then that is the not-so-good.

On the other hand, I would not be surprised if that were actually MSU's level 3 rather than Calmnic's.

"We just want the cult to lose" is a great rallying cry, but this would not be mafia if you guys did not also try to pull out a win.
