Really, to each his own I suppose, but I'd say he is quite good.
Emerald Empress is a good choice, but I was comparing LL to say Mordru or Persuader.
Plus I always look for figures without REVs first, since LL would do well with Armor Piercing.
Running Shot plus Energy Explosion and three targets, plus armor piercing is in my mind one of the best plays especially against larger teams.
I actually wasn't sure I wanted Mordru but I needed -something- to do with the Calculator TA so I wasn't paying points for nothing.
That's the exact reason why I grabbed Nightshade.
Honestly if it's possible I'd say to drop Mordru, and grab Lightning Lord.
Then you still have around sixty points to either grab a mystic or something to work with your Wildcards.
Ultimates or Batman Enemy would be perfect.
Emerald Empress (especially with Nova Blast) is capable of wrecking teams in a way that LL simply cannot. Also, EE's RS/pulse wave combo lets you hit stealthed figures and get around damage-reducers, super senses, etc. All in all, EE was the right choice.
If you plan to stick with the LSV next season, I would hold onto Mordru and work on upgrading him to his Crisis version. Then, you can cash him out for a huge gain in points at the end of the season and spend those extra points on other figures.

Yes I agree, comparing LL with EE, the Empress was the better choice.
But comparing Mordru to LL? Well even the Crisis version can only do three damage.

If Rokk is going to stick with the LSV for next season, Mordru is the better choice because there's a 100+ point gain when he upgrades to Crisis Mordru. He can then cash out Mordru and use those points to open up a lot more draft options. Upgrading LL doesn't get you nearly as much in points.
