Hey Rodeo, sorry for the delay, I finally got some comments in on your first fiend deck. I'll take a peek at your other one later today if I get time.
Hey guys, a strategy question. What do you think of Last Turn in an Archfiend deck? I was thinking that if you're in a bind (or maybe NOT in a bind) and use your Archfiend costs to lower things down really fast. Last Turn could be a nice finishing piece since a lot of monsters that will try to take yours out too can be negated with the Archfiend Roll. Similarly, put in a Newdoria to ensure a tie, or if we decide to corrupt some extra cards, use a Mystic Tomato / Last Will to bring out Jowgen and then Last Turn it for game.
Thoughts?
well to insure we draw last turn, we would have to replace at least 2 useful spells or traps, which sometimes can cause a problem in archfiend decks(it really is hard to decide)
What would u take out for tomato/etc
Well, if I were to attempt a last turn/archfiend deck. The first spells I would remove are the pandemoniums. Terraforming would be gone as well if you use it. Just something to think about.
*Warning: Entering aggression mode....
WHY WAS THIS ON THE SECOND PAGE!!!!! THE FIENDS DON"T LIKE THAT!!
Or replace one or two monsters with "A Cat of Ill Omen".
I, actually, couldn't believe it but I never thought of the Pet Searchers (An Owl of Luck, and a Cat of Ill Omen) until about 2 months ago.
Well, back to the Subject. When Dillie-O mentioned the Last Turn + Archfiend deck, I was actually hesistant and thought about how it might be possible.
THere ARE plenty of way to pull it off, but I did mention to Dillie-O a possible combo:
Activate Archfiend's Roar and chain Last Turn.
Last Turn will resolve, your Archfiend will duke it out with your opponent's monster and after Last Turn Resolves, Archfiend's Roar Special Summons an Archfiend monster from the graveyard and at the VERY LEAST, you have a Draw.

Hello, everyone! I apologize for not being on for a while, but I got you all a present... a couple card reviews! ^_^
A CAT OF ILL OMEN
This monster has the ability to get out a Trap card to the top of the deck. Now, I don't suggest this for an offense deck (ofcourse, if you want to run it in an offensive deck, be my guest), but this card can be a help in a Fiendish Defense Deck. For example, Pyrofire's Lava Golem Deck could use it for the trap defense he needs. But keep in mind: A Cat of Ill Omen is made for ONLY Gravekeepers and defensive decks.
AN OWL'S LUCK
This card is also meant for Gravekeepers, but I'm sure we have a better use. How? Come on, you know, silly. Still don't know? Fine, I'll waste a few more minutes typing this next paragraph.
An Owl's Luck, a monster with no impressive stats, allows the controller to put a field spell card to the top of the owner's deck (, while Gravekeepers get the new field card in their hand. But that's not the point). In case you have forgotten, the Archfiends rely on the powerful Pandemonium, so it is best to get the field card out onto the field as soon as possible. That is where the owl can come in. However, most people will stick with Terraforming, but Terraforming can be hard to get for two reasons:
1) It is a Super Short Print
2) Archfiends aren't the only ones that rely on this card
So, if you are one of the many people that searches for this card and cannot find it, add a few An Owl's Luck into your deck.
TERRAFORMING
The Spell version of An Owl's Luck, this card can assist Agents, Fire, Water, Harpies, Earth, Wind, Light, Dark (possibly), Gravekeepers, and, most importantly, Archfiends. This spell card is very useful in decks like the ones listed above, since duelists are only allowed three of a card. With Terraforming, it basically adds three more of the field cards into the deck. How? For example: A Gravekeeper Deck can only have three Necrovalleys, but with Terraforming, you have now three Necrovalleys AND three cards to search out the Necrovalleys, enhancing the chances of getting Necrovalley onto the field. So if you run Archfiends, don't hesitate to add this powerhouse in your deck!
SUMMONER OF ILLUSIONS
This monster is severely underrated by most people. This card can be a pain to pull off since you need another monster, and the fusion monster also can only be on the field for one turn..... or does it? The fusion monster Fiend Skull Dragon has the ability to negate flip effects, meaning that he can disobey his master about returning to the fusion deck zone. Now, how does this tie into the fiend tactics? If you haven't seen the Archfiend list, then you wouldn't know that Fiend Skull Dragon is an Archfiend. So, with the assistance of Pandemonium, he can bring out Terroking Archfiend when he is destroyed.
I hope this broadens your ideas about Archfiends. Take care, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! ^_^
I tried my Fiend/Chaos today at my local tourney. It's very competitive there. We played 5 rounds swiss and I made it into the top 8. I'm very pleased with the deck. The best part about it is the look on my opponents face when I remove 1 light, 1 dark....and then three fiends.
Legolas, I've taken a peek at your deck again and left feedback there.
Starting out in 2K5, I was wondering how much we've looked at a card I've seriously underrated until recently in Fiend Decks: Last Will....
There are SO MANY fiend cards that ride under the 1500 mark and we use them so frequently in a suicide/tribute format that why not get some more bang for the buck out of it.
I forget exactly who mentioned this one (I think it was Nitestar), but use Last Will, then suicide a Giant Germ to get 2 more Germs and ANOTHER monster of your choosing, say Goblin King for an instant 2K beast, or even better, get that Wall of Illusion out to build a slight buffer. The possibilities are endless!!
So here's to the new year and to the continued Fiendish Dueling! Keep those thinking caps a buzzin'!

edit:
Never mind. Makes no sense, as the effect of Summoner of Illusions has already resolved, but apparently Fiend Skull Dragon does indeed get to stay on the field after it was summoned by Summoner of Illusions. Strange, but I guess it works.
Summoner of Illusions has been in my deck for a WHILE now.
It comes in handy as heck when you run IMTs and Book of Moon to protect your Dark Ruler.
I very much respect Summoner, a little bit more than Scientist since Summoner can finish the game QUICK. Tribute a monster for Master of Oz and attack and ring him.
He can search for BOTH Fusion Arhcfiends, one stays on the field and the other lets you search for ANY Archfiend.
Gimpy
The reason Fiend Skull Dragon remains on the field is because he negates ALL flip effects, including Summoner of Illusions'. Why? Because Summoner of Illusions' effect activates in the "Resolve Flip effects" part of the Damage Step and remains face-up ion the field until the entire Flip effect resolves, which summons Fiend Skull Dragon, whose continuous effect automatically kicks in and negates him.
Counters?
A Flip Summoned Summoner of Illusions can be flipped face-down or removed from the field in a chain with his effect in order to prevent his effect from being negated.:
Chain Link 1: SoI Flip effect (tribute a monster to activate it)
Chain Link 2: Book of Moon/Ring of Destruction
Resolves:
Chain link 2: Book of Moon/Ring of Destruction destroys of flips SoI face-down
Chain link 1: Special Summon Fiend Skull Dragon, who negates flip effects of Flip effect monsters on the field, but Summoner of Illusions is face-down.
Of course, (and this is to all the spies out there reading this thread to find a weaknesses) Summoner of Illusions' effect doesn't target, so flipping him face-down or destroying him will just cause his user to bring out a different Fusion monster.
By the way, sorry for my poor attendance, but my OTHER wife (not Necrofear) caught a BAD case of Food Poisoning and had to take care of her. But I'm back now.

Oh my God, that's horrible. Is she alright now? A good friend of my dad's got food poisoning about half a year ago, and he was barely able to move for 2 months. I hope everything is alright...
As for what you were saying about Summoner of Illusions: he is far better in the right deck than Magical Scientist. The fact that for a simple tribute you can get out any Fusion monster in the game and attack directly with it makes it much more superior. I wish they could have made it super rare and changed the effect to being able to tribute itself. Then it would be just one heck of an extremely versitile card ^_^
Anyways, I think Fiend Skull Dragon got a BIG boost since the ban list. There are SO many targeting spells that nearly everyone runs: Change of Heart, Snatch Steal, Book of Moon, and Enemy Controller are just a few. Plus, most people will waste a card on it because they failed to read the text. I sure do love people who hate reading.

*Thinks back to years gone by* I remember when people used to do that with necrofear:
Me: I special summon Dark necrofear
opp: Oh really what does that do?
Me: Well i can remove 3 fiends to special summon it

Me: I suppose so
Opp: Okay i ring it
Me: End my turn, take you BLS-EOB
Opp: WTF???
ROFL It's funny when opponents do that to cards with effects without knowin the effect. But I do hate Necro's effect when its used against me by my brother cause he is the one with the Fiend deck, I run a water deck. Hey will there be any new fiends coming out soon?
