IIRC, Quebbs only sends failure notices to people who expect return-PMs, info-gatherers. So you would not know. That caused a lot of confusion in a LegoBatman game.

I think it is possible that he was hiding out as Secret Bear's buddy got him this far because he was able to avoid killing and hide in plain sight.
