Yeah it was like old times, IF I had ever used master mind before I might have done better against Milke, but it was fun to have Zemo KO 2 surfers.

But one was a rookie, and Jak decided to play his surfer like a non chicken, and he went toe to toe with zemo and a wonder man (who almost got koed)

Obviously, Justin did not. Just wondering among the remaining 9 players, how many contestants ran the LE Surfer? Justin KO'd 2 - nice!

Mike and I forgot our surfers practicaly every one else had one, but I think one guy changed his team for the second round, and Russ used Ares which was a super pull. and someone else used a winter soldier team.

so I guess 6 of 10 ran surfers at least once

Saturday I will play surfer unless I get Ares + fortitude which I said I would play if I pulled it.

Had to go get my brick from Kool's today!

At Kool's today it was

So the judge, Don, didn't get to play. Eric won again. Both he and Tim cruised with Silver Surfer, and then had a boring Surfer vs Surfer match. Mike thought as I did that playing with the Surfer wasn't so compelling, and we went with anti-Surfer teams.

I went 2-1, with wins against my girlfriend and Mike. Poor Mike. For the 2nd week in a row he had lousy rolls against me, and I had Iron Man again. He was a great sport though, and I would like to play more games against him.

I had Iron Man, Gargoyle, Ronin and Stingray on my team. Versus Tim I took down his silver Quicksilver, but never got a hit on surfer. He took out my Ronin and Stingray, and damaged both Gargoyle and Iron Man, but the game ended because of time. It was kinda lame with him running through hallways and me never being able to trap him or tie him up.

I had fun though, and I think another one of my friends might be showing up next week.

Jeff, sorry you couldn't be there to meet my friends. Maybe after all the CoG stuff is over.

Yeah after the COG tournies are over would love to meet your pals. I do usually play at Kool's on Saturdays. Just gonna be a while.

What happened at Hosers on Saturday?

Spent my Saturday pulling weeds :disappoin , repairing sprinkler heads , taking a nap (badly needed after this week at work) , and taking my wife to see the latest Harry Potter flick - 3 stars max in my book.

Sure glad it is overcast today since I have more yard work facing me. Ahh, the joys of home ownership.

I won with my duo of Surfer and Grim Reaper.
