Going by the recent news of the legal battle over Superboy's name, I think it was said DC started publishing a Superboy comic in 1949. And there were some name changes along the way, so I'll guess it was "Superboy", "Adventures of Superboy", "Superboy and the Legion of Superheros" and then back to the original title "Superboy".

This is a guess, and only guess.

From what I understand, you have to be a financial donor to the website and then you get to alter that bit of info. Sort of an upgrade for paying members. Or blackmail, depending on how you look at it.
The more money you donate, the more privlieges you recieve, I think that's how it was put to me once upon a time.

You have to love the disclaimer the folks at the Marvel Family Web put on their "Son-O-God" page:
