I know that when using support that you can't be in base contact with an opposing character. The rules and PAC do not state the same for regeneration.

Yup. Of course, your opponent might just smack you again afterwards :-)

yeah regen is fairly useless - which is a real shame. Often you have to push to use it - so you only gain on a 4-6 and then you are vunerable to getting hit again.

we play with a "minimun 1 click heal" with regen - but its still weak

thanks for clarifying that for me... we have a person that seems to think it works like support and that it can't be used when in base contact with an opposing figure.
i was pretty sure it would work, but the judges were busy at the time with games in progress when we had the discussion and i forgot to ask them.

Although it usually stinks most of the time, those times when you roll a 6 are priceless!
