I have a question about the last top square of a staircase.

For example:

o - Elevated Terrain

A - Staircase squares

X - Target Characther who will suffer the knockback and he stands at the last top square of a staircase

Y - The attacker who will get a double on a dice

"Y" gets a 6x6 and hits X.


X go to the Elevate Terrain and DO NOT suffer the knockback dmage

or

X hits the ELEVATED TERRAIN and stays in the same place

If X is on the top most square of the stairs, then he is considered elevated and will be knocked back onto the elevated terrain.

If X is in any other square of the stairs, he is considered grounded and will take damage from hitting the elevated terrain.

Hey PL, would it be better (unless I'm off base here) to say that there was a change made making the top stair square elevated terrain? It's not the fig being considered on e.t., but that it IS e.t. and can be used as a sniper's nest, etc.

Actually, you are correct. The top of the stairs is indeed elevated terrain. However, it is considered adjacent to the next square of the stairs, even though that square is considered grounded (a character could, for example, make a close combat attack from one square to the next).
