Can you perplex up a characters damage and have them pounce?

Say Venom. Has 2 damage on his dial plus perplex and super str.

Could he perplex himself up to 3 damage and then pounce?

Add Super str into it and you get a 5 damage Venom with a really long charge.

Add 2 more perplxers adn thats 7 damage from a full movement charge.

Rule of 3. Pounce adds 1, SS adds either 1 or 2. If you're using a heavy, ixnay on the perplex. If you're using a light it should be fine.

I'm not sure that that is correct; Perplexing Damage up or down changes one's eligibility to use Pounce. Also, objects don't count toward the rule of 3.

Venom can use Pounce, because he has L/C and 2 damage, but if you perplexed up his damage he couldn't use pouce. However, he can use an object with pouce, because they do not increase his damage, they increase "damage dealt".

OK, you cannot perplex your damage above 2 and then Pounce. Pounce says that your damage must be 1 or 2 for you to use it, so if you perplex to 3 you no longer qualify.

Also, damage from Objects does not count towards the rule of 3. You can, for instance, Perplex KC Superman up to an 8 damage and then have him get a heavy object and do 10 damage.

That is correct. You can NOT perplex up your damage with pounce. Your base damage must be a 1 or 2. Objects add to damage dealt not the damage value.
