ok heres the problem my friend has...
1)when in his turn does the Thing move? Can he save the Thing for last, hoping he can kill SS or, as he suggested, use avalanche to throw up a wall around the Thing so that would have to be smashed first, there by ending the Things turn.
as a further question, im pretty sure this isnt legal, but can i TK SS away after the taunt....effectively moving SS away 16 squares?

At any time during your oppenents turn. It's his choice.[/b]
...if this is so, if i'm playing the Thing, can I fly him somewhere first, thereby making it illegal for him to move and thus making the taunt action useless?
I believe based on recent rulings, putting a friendly barrier around Thing, Thing doesn't have to use an attack to break the barrier either. Breaking the barrier is neither "Using full movement to attempt to base the taunter", nor is it "Making a ranged attack vs the taunter".
Question though.
Someone TK's Thing right up to Silver Sable. (Bad example because Thing has Charge, considered a movement with bonus attack power). Lets use Thing not on his Charge clicks then. Based upon Taunt, Thing either has to use full movement to base the taunter or use a ranged attack. Tk'ing Thing right up, he can't technically make a close combat attack?

KILOWOG not KILOWAG, KILAWOG or KILAWAG ROGUE not ROUGE (which happens to be RED in French) GRAVITON not GRAVITRON (Decepticon that never got made?)

This is still up for debate as to whether or not breaking down the Barrier is an attempt to move closer. Remember, there is a also the 0 move option (used when picking up an object while based). The judges are still debating if this satisfies Taunt when behind a Barrier.

Taunt says -- "The target must either attempt to move adjacent to or attack this character next turn."
Nothing about a 'ranged' attack. Thing could smash Silver Sable and that would comply with the Taunt.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
