There has only been 1 insert in MM for rules that I know of, unless you're referring to the FAQ or rulebook instead of the pamphlet that comes in the boosters?
Giant characters control up to two squares around them. If you are two squares away, you are adjacent to Giant Man. BUT, is he adjacent to you?
Blade runs up and has to stop 1 square out, instead of base to base because of the Giant Rules. Can Giant Man just choose to walk away without a breakaway roll?
also. . .
Giant Man stops one square away from Bullseye, effectively basing him. Can Bullseye use his RCE to shoot Giant Man?
Just came to mind when I saw this thread and the new Steel.

Giant-man HAS to break away. However, he fails only on a roll of 1 or 2.

Yes he can! Giant-man bases 2 squares away only for movement and close-combat purposes. So the ranged-combat is still on for those based 2 squares away.
Giant Man should have the upper hand in these issues. It would be a real power if he based your fig but he was not based. And if he could keep your fig in Close Combat with him even though it was a square away.
Thanks though.
