U Phoenix (Ults) is my new favorite figure and I love using her pulsewave. I need to know how it targerts exactly since I have got two differnt rulings from differnt judges.

P= Phoenix
C=Other characters
X=Spaces on the Board.

So on pulse wave her range is halfed to 4. Now does pulse wave only hit on the Up, Down. Left, Right, and Diagnol lines where I put the C's? If characters are lined up in a row and they are on the pulsewave line say CCCCPCCCC do all the C's take a clix if hit or do other characters block line of sight?

I was also told that Pulse Wave hits every one in the area like

It actually doesn't target at all.


If I'm understanding what you are asking...any character that is in range of the PW will be hit. So in your example, if P has a range of 8 (4 when halved) that entire grid above can be hit by PW.



Characters do not block LOF for a PW.

As before, assuming P has a range of 8 (halved to 4) any character on that grid can be hit by the PW so all the Cs can be hit by the PW.

Note that blocking terrain can block a PW.

Yep.

Every C and every X in that grid can be hit by a PWer with a 8 range (4 halved.) (Let's assume it's a flyer because then it can always PW.) Remember that you still need to roll high enough to hit everyone.

Thats great PW is even better then I thought. I thought it only hit on the direct lines. Thanks for the help
