I may have misunderstood azs review but does mind control ignore super senses

super senses activates when an attack is successful.

mind control is a power action that gives a close or ranged combat attack.

so no, MC does not get around Sup Sen

I was a little confused by that, too...

Super senses works against a MC attack. But in the other hand, if the Super Senses roll fails, you can now desactivate SS as it is an optionnal power (so after giving an action with the MCed figure, you can hit it without fearing that the figure dodge the attack).
