"When drawing a line of fire to attempt to destroy a wall or another piece of blocking terrain, draw the line to the center of a square containing the wall or blocking terrain."
So in the following picture if Thor wanted to destroy the section of wall drawn in red would he draw a LOS to the green dot or to the center of one of the 6 numbered squares. If it's the numbered squares, which ones?
I also wondered about this.
In one game I had lof to the dot, but not to the center of any square..yeah I know that is hard to pull off, but it was a strange angle set through an opening between a few pieces.
So even though I could see the center of the Wall I was unable to hit it! Get that!!

First, that has been there for a long while. This isn't something new.

unless it was the U thor and he still had RS, then your question would all but moot.
your point?
I'm not sure what you are saying.
I think all the squares are empty. Brazil is just trying to discuss the rule. With the squares all empty, anyone with a range of 4 could hit square 5.
And here's why that is the rule. Basically everything in Heroclix looks to draw LOF to a square. So in order to have a simple rule that would be easy to follow, this is the rule that was adopted. It won't always make game sense. Sometimes you can destroy a wall even though you could draw LOF to the wall. But this was done to have an easy to use rule.
OK so you need to draw LOS to the center of square 5 not the green dot.
And as far as I can tell there is no figures or blocking terrain so there is nothing to stop you from drawing LOS to 4,5 or 6.
All warfare is based on deception. Hence when able to attack we must seem unable. When we are near we must make the enemy believe we are far away when far away we must make him believe we are near. Feign disorder, and crush him. Sun Tzu
Okay hair 10 so here's the "Loaded" part of my question. If that is as you ruled it then in the situation below, Thor could knock down the red wall with the LOF or LOS (or whatever you want to call it) shown with the green line.
This is kind of a dumb looking situation. Since Wizkids has made a map which contains terrain which contains both hindering and blocking terrain which exists on the line between two squares it seems that it would be better to make the rules work accordingly and target the center of the line the blocking square is on. This would avoid silly looking things like the example I've drawn here.
Oops that second to the last sentance should end with " and target the center of the line the blocking TERRAIN is on."
Oops...was thinking to fast for my fingers, or my fingers were thinking something else, or there was some blocking matter in my brain, or....anyway...my bad.
THOR! Now new and improved! With built-in TRICK SHOT!*
*Only applicable to Walls and other blocking terrain. Your results may vary.

Nice catch. Here's why I don't think they should fix it:
You can currently use geometry to determine line of fire without relying on a straight edge at all. The geometry needed to target the midpoint of an edge is very different than that of targeting the center of a square (especially since the line is being drawn from the center of a square).
Since this isn't a game-breaking or abusive situation, I think everyone is better served by leaving it alone. It's a bit counter-intuitive, I agree. But I don't think the complexity involved in fixing it would be worth the benefit.
Destroying a wall is not always the product a force directed at the wall. Concusive force from Thors hammer to the griound should do. Try to remember Thor is the god of Thunder. His ability to use concusive force is not merly limited to his hammer and fists.
