Does anyone know if there has been a clarrification to this feat card? We were told there would be one before the pre-release, which is now only 10 days away.
Unless you have something that grants a fre action like outwit then you can increase your damage (cause you took an action) and then attack and then gain another +1 (for the attack action) to add to Def.
I think at most you could have +2 and then only if that character has something that allows them a free action (outwit/perplex).
Mostly it will be ued to boost Def by 1 since you must take an action to use it and then it lasts til your next turn.

This doesn't sound right at all. By this reckoning, you could only use the +1 benefit in an attack if you have an ability that allows a free action. So it would only make sense to choose a character with one of the free action abilities to be an agent of Oracle. That can't be right.
This was posted by Frontman in his new "Activation Click" column, which is on the front page of the site.

Originally posted by Frontman A lot has been made over Oracle and her ability to interact with her Feat Card. As the wording currently stands, it sounds like you can add a +1 for every action a character takes, including free actions. While I wasn’t a playtester on this set, I’m sure that the card and Oracle’s ability is for only actual action tokens. I would hang back judgment on that until after the set is released, and the first FAQ published after “Legacy” before we jump to any conclusions.
I think this pretty much is how it should and will work.
But I'm still curious about whether or not a character who has been made an agent of Oracle and has perplex on their own dial can use their own perplex and then use the perplex on Oracle's dial as well.
If not, option 2 of the feat might be a little expensive at 47 points.
I think the wording on it now limits it for only the initial action. It's a bit of a stretch but look at the way it's worded and the way they word Close Combat Action and the bunch in the Glossary of the Universe rule book. Seems very similar to me.
I could be reading to much into the Glossary though.
Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone.
I think you'll be able to use both options in that scenario.
But hopefully people don't lose sight of the most important thing about Option 2: It takes a separate power action to obtain Oracle's OW, Perplex or Leadership.

I did lose sight of that; thanks for pointing it out.
But the way I'm reading the card, a character uses a power action on one of it's turns to gain, say, perplex from Oracle's dial. On that turn, that character can't do another action.
BUT, that character keeps the ability until another agent of Oracle turns the dial, so until that happens they could keep using perplex on subsequent turns without using a power action.
Which means, if you made two Con Artists your agents, you make a heck of a Hooker Bomb!
Also that the Overconfidence BFC counteracts option 2 of this feat.

It could still do a free action, so it could still use Oracle's power. (Either Leadership, Outwit, or Perplex.)

That wouldn't work too well since the Con Artist could still only use its own Perplex, and not Oracle's. (They could still use her other powers, but Perplex is out.)

From the Recent Rules Clarifications on Legacy:
If the Agent already has a power showing on its dial that Oracle has, it may not use that same power from Oracle.
