a good flying/phasing/leap climb tie up piece that can get almost all the way across the board is the first thing that comes to my mind as usefullness.

Double-Time only works with Boot symbol regular characters and Transporters. So Flyers and Aquatic figures cannot use this card.

Of course, some transporters may be flyers or aquatic figures, so they *could* use the card.
shazam!! the best thing about this is characters like the hulk, colossus, ghost rider, and those who need to activate now have a cheap solution that allows them to get into play a lot faster! and yes the explantion would be that the figure is running in pushi itself to move as fast as it possibly can! imagine a charging trasforming colossus comin at ya, yikes!
You also can't actually use the feat with phasing since it makes you use a move action, not a power action. I think it'd be really gross with a flying transporter. Not only do you skip the push damage, you also get to bring your buddy with you!

ALL Transporters (Flying, Boot and Aquatic) will be able to "Carry" their Buddy. It's a function of their Speed Type, Transporter.
btw, i was trying to think of new stragedies to utilize the "quicktime" card and i have a quick question..
if i use it with giant man and he runs up to within two squares of green arrow...i understand green arrow can not close combat attack gman, though gman can close combat attack him....BUT green arrow can still shot giant man, can't he?
Ladies and gentlmen perhaps you could point me in the nearest direction of this so called "double-time" FC? Or are you speculating about it from the Mageknight version?
