all right, I finally gave in and I am thinking of using the LE Invisible Woman with the FF4 feat. Now, I understand that A Wildcard can copy this ability of sharing defense as well. Now, let's get to the nitty gritty:

ICWO:
Let's say I'm using LE I.W. and Jinx for all these scenarios.

-Both have ICWO, I boost I.W. defense, does Jinx get 20 defense now?
-Can I use ICWO on Jinx AFTER I.W. boosts here defense and then boost Jinx defense. giving her a 21 defense?

ES/D:
Jinx is on Energy Shield/Deflection clicks. Can Jinx still get the 19 defense and the have it upped to 21 from ranged attacks....and then up it to 22 with ICWO, to make it irritating

Keep in mind that the above is based on how the card is worded right now. There is a very good chance that it will be FAQd by the time it is released to keep it consistant with other similar TAs...

Technically, that's the way it's worded, but expect the Fantastic Four feat card to be FAQ-ed to use only unmodified defense for substitutions.

Yes, though expect Jinx to have to use her own ICWO to improve her defense, rather than relying on I.W. adding 1 to her defense with ICWO.

Can Thor, after making a move action, adjacent to friendly S. Storm LE, share Sue's defense value(18) and ICWO to increase his Def to a 19?

Nope, for the same reasons above. The value isn't actually shared until an attack is made on the fig, at which point Sue's 18 will replace Thor's defense.

Since ICWO is a modifier that would give +1 to any combat value, if it is given to Thor's defense, then I believe that it would give him a 19 (18 Sue Storm's defend +1 ICWO) defense. Just as Human Torch would get a 20 (18 Sue Stom's defend +2 for energy field deflection) defense to a ranged attack.

The difference is that ICWO takes place before the sharing of defense, therefore the modified defense just gets replaced. ES/D is always in effect. So when you replace Human Torch's defense he then still gets the +2 from ES/D.
