If you hit a person who is on invulnerable, that only reduces damage by two, as I understand it. So even if the person is damaged into a click of a different reducer, such as toughness, it does not apply until a new attack action correct?. So in affect, if you hit hulk hard enough you can jsut send him flying by all his good damage reducers?
This is why some people will try to get a good hit in on a character that has an activation click. If you hit a character with no damage reducers for 5 clicks...it doesn't matter that the next click is Impervious. The character will still take all 5 clicks.

Right. It's part of the reason playing most versions of the Hulk has been so tricky, since getting him on his best clicks before putting him in harm's way can take up several moves.
This is also why the upcoming Feat card "Double-Time" will likely see more use than merely on Transporters. Putting that 5 pt card on someone like Colossus, the Absorbing Man, or someone else with a distinct activation click will let players get those characters twice as far out onto the board as they'd usually be able to go and put them on their second click all in one move. Depending on the piece, this will be a better option than some players' previous Feat choice of Haymaker.
