if you use contact with oracle to up sue storms defense to 20. dose the defens go up on everyone with the fantasic four team abilty when you use the fantasic four team card to share the defense..

First, this is in the wrong forum.

Now, to answer your question, no. Fantastic Four's ATA allows you to share the unmodified defense value. ICWO is a modifier, so the ATA ignores it.

In fact, the only one of the FF who can use the card that is Sue Storm, without it being overriden by the TA anyway. The reason is timing. Since the effect of ICWO takes place BEFORE you share defense, the new defense overrides the ICWO increase, making it a wasted action.

Well I'm sure that this topic of the F4 card and ICWO came before, but I never read it yet, this is the first time, so I decided to investigate for myself. Now correct me if I'm wrong but it says that the F4 memeber can replace their defense with the unmodified defense value (according to the FAQ). So if I had Johnny and Sue, and Johnny had the unmodified defense replace his current defense, wouldn't that mean he can add +1 to his unmodified defense since its not modified, its replace, hence giving him a 20 defense? That's how I see it, but correct me please if I'm wrong, I'd really like to know since I love fielding F4 teams.
