I ask this coz during my last game I used Marvel Girl's Pulse Wave against the Fantastic Four. But my friend said that since PW ignores all powers and TAs she would not benefit from the +1 to attack bonus that her Ultimate X-men TA grants.

Is this true???

A character using pulse wave is not affected by their own pulse wave.

The +1 stands.

If the Fantastic Four team ability was ignored due to PW, then why would Marvel Girl get a +1? The opponents wouldn't have the required TA for the purposes of that attack.

Whether or not the Team Ability is ignored is irrelevant; Pulse Wave doesn't take away the fact that Sue is still a Fantastic Four member, and still has the TA printed on her dial. +1 stands.

When using Ults X-Men, you just declare "Juggernaut is Cyclops' enemy." or "The Fantasic Four is Marvel Girl's enemy."

So in a sense, if the Pulse Waver has Perplex they could use it on themselves too right?

Just note -- If they use it on their damage, there MUST be only one figure in range. If there are more than one figure within the half-range, then you cannot affect your damage since the damage is reduced to one AFTER Perplex is used. Use it on your attack or movement instead.
