hey all i was wondering if its legal to use repainted or modifed figs(not the clix base) in offical wizkids tournaments. the reason is i just finished a modifed future teen titans team(the future titans from the titans of tomarow storyline) and i really want to show them off in play. i didnt modify the bases at all and i was curious. thanks

As long as your dials have not been modified and it is very clear what the custom figure is based on, there is nothing techinically illegal. However, if the sculpt makes it at all ambiguous as to what figure it is supposed to be, or even down right misleading, then your Judge has every right to tell you "no, you can't use it.
" It really comes down to Judges calls, a lot of the time. I know judges that don't allow *any* customs, just to avoid confusion, and others will let just about anything go, as long as you tell your opponent before hand what is what.

Bottom line, ask your judge. And if you can't get a hold of your judge to ask before the tournament, I'd bring two teams (one with the figures you want to play and a back-up in case you can't use your customs).
