Title pretty mcuh explains it all. WHats your Favorite Final Fantasy. Right now I'd have to say that mine is FFX for PS2, but thats probably because its the newest one I've played and I'm playing it right now. Right behind FFX is FF8 which I enjoyed a lot more than FF7, although I know a lot of people disagree with me (not sure why) I guess I like the more human based characters as opposed to the more cartoony ones.
I'm not a fan of RPGs. My first attempt at playing them was FFVIII, never got past the first disc. Then Final Fantasy X was released, the story was what kept me going. I'm very happy that I played to the end.
I still have the last save point on the memory card, in case I feel like revisting Spira....
FFX-2, however, bought the game, haven't played it since I got into the second chapter -- lost interest.
As for the other Final Fantasy games, never played them.
I played pretty much all of the FF games...except for the new ones other than the online XI...I'm a FFXI junkie...my main job is Monk and I'm working on obtaining my Black Belt, which anyone who plays knows is truely an amazing feat...there are like two people per server who have one.

Wow, sometimes I have to look over stuff I write and stare in total awe...what an astounding display of pure geeky-ness.
I bow to your unending patience! I certainly couldn't endure that at all......
Then again, I did spend 30+ hours playing with 4 White Mages, so maybe I'm more masochistic than I think.......
I think that's the only combo that would have been harder than the Black Belts. Weak combat, few attack-worthy spells, limited weapon and armor choices even at the end of the game.
All Black Belts was worst at the very beginning; I was killing imps for what seemed like forever to get tough enough to do more than a couple of points to Garland with each attack. But by the end it was just insane numbers of hits for thousands and thousands of damage. One benefit- no buying weapons, armor, or spells, so you could spend all your gold on cure and pure potions. And I needed it.

To be honest, even after 30+ hours, I didn't stick with them. They fought wars of attrition every time, just trying to outlast their opponents. Hit one mage, one is gonna heal them back, and the other two are gonna try some spell that doesn't really work on you at all......
The beginning was tough, but they fought through it, and they got pretty far in the game, but it got to a point where the battle with Kali took me 4 hours, and I died. I was kinda done with that team after that.......I've heard of more patient people that went all the way, though. But anyone can go all the way if they spend enough of their lifetime getting random encounters.
My favorite team was probably Fighter, Thief, Black Mage, and Red Mage. And yes, I formed it after becoming a fan of 8-bit theatre. Bite me.

Yeah... I think I could tolerate three white mages and one anything else, just as long as there was SOME damage-dealing capability in the party. A Thief and 3 White Mages would be pretty hard, but at least doable. I always was a fan of Fighter/White/Red/Black myself, sometimes swapping out the white or red for a thief or black belt or another fighter.
